Thanks very much! I have a hunch this has a lot to do with why they are doing so well for me! Thanks for watching!
Hi from East Texas. I’m 76 years old and I have my first tarantulas 3 of them. I am a cancer survivor 2 times and I can no longer take care of a dog. Because the spiders take so little time to feed and water. Because of your KZread and others I have become so interested in them. Thank you for all you do to help educate people on this lovely species. ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing! Im very glad you have so much succes in breeding these little dragon! 🐉🦎

Just dropping into comments to say I really admire your dedication to bringing more of these animals into captive-bred existence, and the benefit to wild populations that will help to bring about. Breeding multiple pairs is clearly hard work and sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes thrilling.

Those crocodile skinks are amazing. I like that you basically leave them alone for the most part.
I love how the lemon button fern spreads across the enclosure
First, this video was absolutely amazing. Your work with these animals have been the driving force in my inspiration to work with the Uroplatus genus at the scale I have this year. This leads me to the QOTD: Though my goal is of course centered around Uroplatus, and propagating and producing healthy captive bred offspring, I realize that the reason I am where I am is because of content creators like you who have opened this world in front of me. I owe it to my favorite creators, you included, and I have always loved the educational aspect of the hobby. Last year, I wrote a book with the intent of educating, but realized that perhaps I should take a similar approach to that as my inspirers did, and so my goal this year (on a broader scale) is definitely trying my hand at content creation. I had only just started, but the journey has been rewarding thus far. I cannot wait to see where this year takes me and my peers!
Bro you be dropping those things all the time

I know it looks bad but they are completely fine. It's better not to restrain them than grab them and stress them. The fall is like a ft. if that. I appreciate your concern! Tricky to balance minimizing grabbing with necessary wellness checks!
I loved that video, to be able to see all of your beautiful red, and white eye dragon skinks. Love your enclosures. They look like a small forest. Congradulations with the large number of precious babies. Love your channel. Cindy

Found you through Adam's video. Love love LOVE Croc skinks. Your little colonies are adorable and they seem to be doing so well! They're one of my dream animals for sure. They won't be part of my 2024 plans, but I'm hoping to get a leopard gecko in 2024! My husband is super spooked by reptiles, but has said that I can get a leopard gecko because "i guess they ARE kinda cute...". I think a leo is going to be my best bet at warming him up to other reptiles so I am going for it. Small but not too small and fragile, cute, generally pretty handleable (And i'll make sure to get one that definitely is) and they eat bugs which is way less freaky for him than a reptile that eats mammals (Probably no snakes in my future lmao) It'll be my first time keeping reptiles in 18 years and I am STOKED because care has changed so much and there is so much information and so many products now I am going all out on the little guy. Croc skinks 2025? :D It all depends on how it goes with this leo 😂 Thanks for the video!

What a big impact to use non North American currency as your cash option for your wallet ad. Hits the travellers heart I think! Dunno why I enjoyed that so much lol Back in the day, you peaked my interest in plants, I’d had a couple house plants here and there before, but you made me wonder what the interest was all about, I now have a house jungle, even though I went in a different direction than terrarium plants, you started that interest in me

I really loved the update on the crocodile skinks' red & white eyes. I am looking at Euromastic's as my next lizard project. They are finally here in Florida. They are way smaller than the gigantic Egyptians. They get a little bigger than bearded dragons. They come in four colorings. The colors are orange, yellow, green, and multicolor. I am very excited about working with them. They are very curious and easy to work with. They are friendly as well, and a joy to watch them check their world out. If I am lucky enough to get them breeding. That will be a true joy! This is just the beginning. I am working on getting the living spaces together. Then, the next step will be to get the 1st pair. They are priced extremely well, too! Wishe me luck. I hope you all have a wonderful new year in 2024 with many blessings.
My reptile goals for this year is to probably expand upon what I keep, and to give better care as well as larger enclosures for the individuals I keep

Well done Dayyan! Wonderful to see your success with this project. They are incredible creatures. Interesting convergent evolution to geckos with tail regeneration and vocal chords, but quite unique in their feet glands! Man I love these crocodile skink videos. I found a pair of white eyes for 75% off back in November and between them and your videos, I'm obsessed. I hope they continue to do well. What kinds of ferns are you using in your enclosures? The species I've been trying as I set up their permanent vivarium have not been doing well and I might try and find a different species

I am just starting my reptile keeping journey, and am building out enclosures for a hognose snake and fire belly toads. Later in the year, hoping to build out enclosures for a leopard gecko and a corn snake.
Love the video! We have a pair with a big water area and filter, have you found they have better success with breeding dropping down to a smaller water source? Always love the content
@Reptiliatus

Wonderful! Personally I haven’t found it makes a difference at all besides managing it for the owner. This method works a lot easier for me than the water features as they tend to bring a lot of soil into them over time but if I only had one pair I’d likely revert back to how I did it before.

This year I will start a Drat frog vivarium, I have built the background using Gorilla Glue. I just need to find plants now and plant them
Amazing animals with amazing looks and behavior. The only downside is that they are so cryptic, that you practically don’t see them, and their taming needs a lot of patience and still they keep avoiding coming out. Probably not for me, but they are the best skink for a naturalistic enclosure. Congratulations for your patience recording all the scenes perfectly. Why are you using gloves to handle them? My goal for 2024 is to upgrade both of my snakes into larger and more naturalistic enclosures.

Project Mini Dragon is what I live for! The Red-Eyed are beautiful, but I still like the White-Eyed best. For the QOTD My goal for 2024 is to get all 11 of my crested geckos into their "forever" homes. And to figure out how many mourning geckos are actually in their enclosure since I keep seeing smaller and smaller babies running around with the older babies now. The most I have been able to see at one time is 6 so I know the 3 adults have been busy!
This year I plan to focus on my arachnids, new slings coming and a velvet Spider as well as my tree frogs 17:59

They all look so beautiful they are almost unreal looking. Also their little squeaks of outrage are brilliant. So how many of the babies, percentage wise, do you sell and how many do you keep for future breeding?

I know the video was a month ago now but…. I had to say that your work with this species is amazing. I have a pair of white eyed ones. I can’t wait to have them have a baby. There aren’t many good places to get all of the proper husbandry. I would love if you could tell me a little about what make you successful in keeping them.
Did I miss the transition video from the tanks with water features to these tanks? Both look incredible just wondering why the change? Thanks for the video! Cheers.
Omg, so many fascinating observations! The possible scenting of things! Didn't know they were so vocal. And pores on their feet to sex them? Didn't know these things! Love this vid! ❤

That's so cool! Wishing you every success! I really enjoy producing and raising them myself!
QOTD:, I just made a giant paludarium it's 120x40x50cm, 240liters or around 65 gallons and I added a pair of alpine newts and emediatly when they came eachother across in the water area the male started to wave his tale wich is tipical breeding behavior, so what I want to do this year is breed them and relaese the offspring back in my garden pond where I found the parents 😊
Curious about your goals as a keeper/breeder. Do you think you’ll eventually expand to keep larger reptiles like Aldabra tortoises or Asian water monitors, for example? Or, do you prefer to keep more space friendly species? Do you have a “wishlist” that you work through or just know what you want when you see it?
I am going to upgrade my turtle enclosure for my baby musk turtle.
I was wondering if you are still liking the new Leap Habitats for your mini dragons? This is one of my dream animals to keep and when you set up in the Leap Habitats, it looked more doable for me. Water filters are not my forte.
To answer the question of the day, I want to upgrade my Blue Tongued Skink to a 4x2x2 and maybe put a pixie frog in it's current tank (40 Gallon)
Awesome video! Do you have any available, I’d like to buy one. 😊
