We had a forecast for last night of 4 degrees - a record low here for mid wales at this date - so having to go round with fleece in the evening - luckily all seem to be coping well with the heat of the day and the chill of the night - fingers crossed!

Great job nigel I planted out a few bits this afternoon

Thank for the inf on the runner beans.l planted some a couple of weeks ago and l have already lost some.l have started some more off and l will plant them two together in future.

one of my crimson crush tomatos is showing a potato leaf, normally associated on other varieties. i'm going to plant out to see what develops. lol..................brian

Eek I sowed my tomato seeds too late, they are not very big but I planted them out anyway and hope for the best.

Hi Nigel Great video again mate. I planted 8 Pongo beans out today and like you mine came from Bill & Val. Not sure if you have heard but Grown Local are now doing the Greenhouse Sensations Quad Grows and the feed for them. 👍👍👍👍👍

Those beans look really good Nigel, they can't wait to get going. I have bought four of those green poles this year and I think I'm going to slowly replace my bamboo canes with them over the next coming years as they seem very robust. I've not heard about removing some shallots so the remaining ones get bigger, will you just leave your ones for next years stock in those cell trays until planting out in autumn or spring? Take care 😊

Lucky i dont have those mats or i could see val losing it with me trying to wash them 😂😂 Got some nice beans there and those poles are my next investment ive got plenty of the other two sizes and just need them now for runner beans i think well worth the money as last and last.

Good morning Nigel, another cracking day ahead. I have two 8x4 raised beds made from sleepers. I'd like to net them to keep those pesky cabbage whites and pigeons away. Do you have a video/link on how you did yours? They look so professional 👍

Hello, I completely forgot 🙁… and didn’t realise until you have noticed. I am always keen to get good roots on beans since they are Nitrogen fixers. Only reason I can think was they got planted at the end of a long day. Very well observed 👏👏👏👏. Thank you
