Holy moly! Years back I read a book about micro entrepreneurs. "Start Small, Stay Small". It was written by a Rob Walling. I tried more than a few times over the years to search more on this topic. But the Micropreneur trail seems to have gone cold. Fast forward a few weeks back I have been searching something about SaaS and youtube recommended this channel to me. I have been consuming it daily. It felt that the way this channel is presented is more my speed than the other bombastic SaaS channels out there. Then I watched this video today expecting some gems. The speaker is familiar enough, he's the channel owner, until he mentions his name. It vaguely sounded like someone I used to read. "Did he just say his name is Rob Walling?" That is a name I haven't heard in a long time. I'm so glad to have found you again and can't wait to consuming your content.

The guy you saw at a 1978 gas station would have been a SaaS KZreadr, if only there had been SaaS back then.

Just for feedback. I like these more organic forms of speaking and info than the fast-cut clips with music and visual effects that you do. This format is more mellow and thorough.

Funny enough for me it is such a relief that there is actually intelectual information on youtube. instead of these 12 year old kids with millions of subscribers lying their ass of promising numbers with zero experience and screaming thumbails. You actually deliver. I directly jumped to your podcast as well, I feel really inspired.

At time 3:25, the fact that you show a video demo to those who don't meet criteria for a scheduled demo w/staff - is brilliant. We discovered that there could be immense resentment if a user got the impression "they rejected me" if they were not the right customer profile at the time they came to the site. It came across as being 'socially excluded'. Sort of a backhanded, "you're no good for us, now scram" that we did not intend, had not expected, and wondered how we could have missed it. Just not thinking it through. Having a video demo solves that and sets the stage for that person's engagement, instead of thinking poorly of your brand. Nice job! Very inspiring bit of keeping as many prospects in the pipeline as possible. .

I appreciate Robs sage startup advice. But even after a few startups, I'm sorry, I don't know much of what he's talking about in this session lmao. Maybe I need more startups under me.
