Pack, Adbeel and Erik are back in Burleson, Texas to showcase the completed 30x36 Red Iron Metal Garage.
A lot of customizations were made on this weld up red iron metal garage to match it to the clients home. Some of the customizations on this building include:
- Redirection of the gutter system to pave way for the installation of the stone veneer panels as wainscot.
- Stone veneers with brick ledge over the metals? Why not? Yes, this metal garage had a stone face veneer in brick ledge installed as wainscot. This can be a requirement for HOA approvals for metal garage buildings. In this case, our client wanted to match his home
- Cedar Encasements

I’m in the Sealy, Tx area. The plan is to have a metal or pole barn built in 2025. Like the content you putting out, very informative. Let’s talk about the cedar in casement for the lean to; which is more cost effective, post or in-cased?

Do you guys do standing seam roofs? Are all metal outbuildings R-panel roofs for the most part? I dont understand why someone would go to the expense of putting up a red iron structure, and a very nice one, without doing a standing seam roof.

Thanks for your comment Ron, we do not offer full standing seam roofs yet. To answer your question for the most part yes, most buildings have R Panels and Ag Panels. There are different factors which can affect why they chose this panel. Main being pricing and its not offered by their builder.
Very nice building. It’s very close to what I’m looking to do in a year Or so. I’m in Del Valle Tx right outside of Austin. Any chance of dormers being installed, strictly for aesthetics?

Was is the materials/labor price difference in going with encased steel post vs cedar post percentage-wise? 15, 20, 25, 50% less expensive?
