What’s the name of the colors. Which gray is that?

What is the wind rating for these buildings? How does using block walls effect the price and construction requirements?
Great question Anthony! Tubular metal buildings can be rated to any wind rating. Standard typically ranges from 90-120 MPH. They are pre engineered to your local codes. Adding block/brick does increase the price. The building will need to be adjusted to add that. Hopefully this answers your question!
Do they have a DIY for other locations in the US?
We do not offer kits for DIY. Our pricing includes us doing everything for the building!
My dream shop 😮
The one thing I’d suggest to people getting a narrower building (mine is 24’) is not to center your garage door. It wastes so much space, especially when your man door is on the side of the building instead of right next to it. If I had to do it over again, I’d put the overhead door as tight to one side as possible and the man door on the next side so I could have as long as wall to use as possible to use on the other side of the roll-up.
That's a good suggestion and another option to look at. The placement of your garage doors can always vary. Just make sure it meets what your building needs.
Love it, if you could go 30 x 42 = 1260 sq Ft…a nice size for a 3/2 smaller home! Steel buildings can be rated to 160 mph…great for hurricane country.
That's a good size to start with for a home project. Our 30x40 metal buildings is one of our popular size. I'm sorry to see so many negative comments. Your price is right on to have a garage this size built properly to code, with professionally done concrete insulation and electrical.

Black Roof in Texas? NO THANK YOU.
Thanks for your comment and we know why it's a NO for you. Black roof may not be a suitable color since it absorbs more heat compared to light colors but its gaining much popularity nowadays because of the edgy look it gives your metal building. This building was insulated using spray foam which helped in maintaining the temperature inside the building.
@@wolfsteelbuildings Edgy until you get that power bill. Then it is not so cool. Anyhow, The power company's like it. To me it looks low IQ AF. But if it makes the customer feel good, That is what they get. Good feels. A lot of $$$ is made from feels. 😁 Just not my $$$. I am not the feels type. 🤑 All that said. Nice steel work in the building. I am down for that.

Spray foam on a metal building usually voids building manufacture warranty.. If you ever welded, metal keeps a lot of moisture, it literally “sweats” depending on the weather… Spray foam just keeps the moisture on the inside of the panel. It will rust inside to out.. Unless you have wood under the metal, or a liner.. that metal will be moist on the inside of the panel for its lifetime. You said it yourself, spray foam keeps everything the same under control.. including moisture.

Why can't they add the color mix to the spray foam so you don't have to come back and paint?
Good question and you’ve got a point! We use paint intended for spray foam only. Then we wait some time to allow the spray foam to cool down before we apply the paint on it. We don’t mix the paint with the spray foam materials because of the chemical reaction that happens when it is applied. The chemical reaction produced during the application of the spray foam allows the material to expand and harden into a solid which is the foam part of the spray foam. Usually there is no return trip fees, as we usually paint after the spray foam application.

Thanks for your comment, Alan. You’re right and that’s a hairline crack which typically doesn’t affect the structural stability of the pad. Cracking is a common characteristic of concrete due to its properties. However, if there are multiple cracks that are significantly larger and deeper, then that might indicate underlying issues that need to be addressed.
Why does a weld up, fabbed and built on-site cost LESS than a bolt up, which can be prefabbed in a factory? This seems counterintuitive. Also, which is best? What are the benefits/advantages of one over the other to the buyer?
Great question, @Dadnatron! One of the reasons is why most of the weld up metal buildings have lower upfront cost is because they are not typically engineered. Bolt up metal buildings are custom design, engineered and fabricated per client factoring all local codes and use of the building. The arduous process that bolt ups go through makes it a little pricey over weld ups. Each of these types of metal building has its own benefits. Selecting the best option always boils down to what your building needs are especially the building usage. Is that the cost with that much concrete or just a base for the metal building?
Great question, this is with just the base concrete. The additional was custom for his site. In order to quote custom additions and site prep we would need to go out to your site.
Im guessing its customer preference when it comes to running electrical through the concrete and into the building vs having it come from the ground outside and piped in. Are there any pros/cons either way? Another future customer from San Antonio.
I want to know the cost, but once I know it I will feel a little sad. San Antonio area.
