I like to set pushrod length so at 1/2 valve travel rocker is parallel to head or valve cover surface .that way rocker angle stays as small as possible on both sides of travel

Ive been fortunate to have been watching this channel for some time now. Finally a duromax build! I have a duromax 18hp on my 1975 wheelhorse trail mower. Sadly, the engine was pretty smashed up out of the box. Fuel tank was crushed and the air filter housing was destroyed. Been hunting for a new air filter system because the factory accused us of damaging the motor so they wouldnt swap it or refund it. However, i tried to locate these new components for light modifications and horsepower gains, but the site doesnt show ANY listings for duromax engines

Did you get that engine to work on your wheel horse ? We are putting an 18hp duromax on my 1970 raider 10. I'm looking for an exhaust header to make a custom stack work that I had made for it.

Sweet video red beard! You've came a long way since I've started watching you. I wonna see you do a big cam build on a 212 or one of the new tillotson motors! I have yet to see a detailed video on this. Like what to expect on running into like piston to head and piston to valve clearances. a build with like a f275 292 or 310 cam with roller rockers would be awesome

You've come a long way since a few years ago. Nice work. I'll be checking out that 50 horse monster. I wonder if a guy could play around with a piece of Steel or lead in between those fins to figure out where the imbalance is... Probably 180 ish. From Top Dead Center. Would make a big difference in power. Reliability and driveability... Peace
