This is one of my favorite scenes between them ever. The roles have reversed in this moment, he's the fixer, and she's the person who needs help. Finally, she's letting her guard down &really believing for the FIRST time that this man loves her, this man is there for her, and will do anything to help her-- AND SHE IS FINALLY LETTING HIM! I love OLITZ!!! Fuck the haters!!!

Olivia never doubted his love. He has made it clear from the gate how he feels about her. She runs because she is scared. Look at her parents not exactly a role model of what a healthy marriage is. Her mother wasn't around she thought she was dead and her father is who he is so she comes from dysfunction and maybe a little mental illness too in the family. They just got back from their home that he had built for them in vermont breaking it in until they could live in it in the future. That shows his love

Notice how Fitz's body language changes when he picks up the phone and ask for General Sharpe at the Pentagon. He is masterful and to the point. OMG! so much SWAG!! I believe that Fitz has more in his background other than daddy issues. He takes command when he wants to or it could be that Olivia gives him strength.

These two are too cute it's disgusting to watch sometimes. She called him not asking him for his help but she knows he's gonna do what he can to help. They do that alot for each other. They don't always come out and ask for help or for something. They have small talk and then the topic comes up and then they do something about it. They just got back from Vermont from their home so they are very much lovey dovey. I love how he calls her Olivia in that deep sensual voice. He says her name with such passion and love. I just realized they are using the same kind of phone

Has anyone ever stopped to think that maybe jake told him about olivia's mom being in trouble with the law because he was looking for a way to get fitz in trouble and have him removed as president and sent to jail. To me this was jake trying again to get between olivia and fitz. But it did not work.

I think he went to Fitz to do what Fitz said to be her hero and like Fitz said she don't need one. Fitz got this. She's his boo his love. Jake wanted to kill Rowan and get back at him for putting him in that hole for not succeeding his mission which was to come between Fitz and Olivia. Jake resents Fitz because when they both got out the navy Jake ended up b613 and Fitz became governor then president. Jake also feels like if he save Olivia enough or save the day that Olivia will forget about Fitz and love Jake. Not gonna happen Fitz is her heart, body, mind and soul
