Ok so ur title says testing output transformer but you mever indicated who made the output transformer. If its good we might want to acquire the transformer ?

This is a follow up video to the one where I show how I wound it. So, if you are interested in buying it you can contact me on my facebook page or via the contact page on my website. Check the video description for those.

What is the paper you use to finish the your transformers, and where can you buy it, excellent video by the way the transformer calculations make it so much simpler Thanks

It's called the pressed paper or craftspaper. You should be able to find it in motor parts store but I am not sure since I get it locally in a store.

Beautiful! Great job! Hey, I bought your transformer and choke calculators and have built few power and single ended transformers for guitar amps. I’m very, very pleased. Power transformer voltages are dead on and output transformers sound great. I would like to test my transformers like that. What do I need? I have a scope.

Thanks Ramil, Analog Discovery would be the best all in one solution. You would need high power 8 ohm dummy load resistors.

@@Delatsch thank you. I’m building a copy of the Surh reactive load. I guess that will work, right?

@@ramilrodriguez8340 It should have inductance as close to zero as possible, othervise it will give false.readings at some frequencies. Check the inductance specs for that device.

@@Delatsch I can’t find that info but, what if I make a resistors bank with four 33ohms 25watts resistors. Total resistance will be 8.25 ohms and will handle 100watts? I’ll put them in an enclosure with a cooling fan. Will that work? Does the Analog Discovery program allows to input the exact load resistance? I’ll buy Analog discovery 2 from mouser with all candy (the probes,etc.).
