Great job! It is super cool. I wonder if the input impedance is high enough though? I would experiment with values between 1-10 Meg Ohm. Thanks for posting these videos!

Thank you, Leif! That's a cool part about this box that it can be modified and customized in many different ways. The input resistor is at 1M by default, but it can be made variable instead of the output so you can use any value between 1-10 Meg. I think I will make another video about possible modifications and include those in the manual that comes with the kit.

Very weak in the bass. How is the cathode bias cap doing?

I don't think a piezo element is going to be the best test - they require a high input impedance..

What is the status of your DI Kit? I visited your web page and I do not see it. Thanks.

Thanks for your inquiry. There was no real interest and in the meantime I've started working on an improved version, so once that's ready I will post another video on it.

It varies depending on the device it will be used in. For guitar amps it can start from 40-50-60Hz or higher, for hifi it will be between 20-30Hz and for recording as well and on the high end it can be from 12-15-20 and beyond Khz. Finding optimum and tonal richness is a lot more crucial than the frequency response.

What kind of soldering iron is that ?🤔

It is standard transformer type soldering gun. This one is made in Poland, very nice quality and at a good price too.

@@manassehabraham5589 It heats up straight away when you press the button, and for point to point it's really convenient. It takes time getting used to, and I wouldn't recommend it for smaller things and tight pcbs.
