I am so impressed and enjoy you and Sam working together to make such incredible shots. I have finally purchased a rifle that should easily get me out to 400 yards, that is my beginning goal (I know that’s not very far but for me it’s a start). I have found a long-distance range, but it is about 3 1/2 hours drive from me, I am looking forward to this new adventure. Thank you, Mark and Sam for your inspiration. 👍

Cool. Just got another 30 cal barrel from Brux yesterday, 30 cal 10 twist 4 groove for another 300WSM. My current one has an 8 twist. I'm shooting Berger 210 VLDs. My 8 twist is getting 2860fps with Reloder 22 powder but my 300WSM chamber is modified to seat bullets longer like the PRCs

Nice shooting, well done Mark and Sam. Question to Mark? I just had 300WSM built for me last year. I'm not able to load for it cause there are no Large Magnum Primer to found any where here in this part of the country meaning in the U.S.. Question is, can or should i substitute Large Rifle primers for the Large Magnum rifle primers? Some say yes i can and some say no. Any insight would be great full.

OK, total newbie question here. If I am seeing this correctly, the wind was basically from behind. Does having a 10ish mph wind 'pushing' the bullet affect the elevation of the impact?

  • @markandsamafterwork

Yes, it does effect elevation, Cheers

You have probably have been asked this question before ... but ... I was wondering, what is the most important wind effect do you think is the most relevant to moving the bullet off or on ? close to the target or close to the shooter ? Im not sure Im wording this question right
