My son overheard me saying I need to buy more work boots soon. So he went out & bought me some sketchers steel toed... At 1st I thought no way... But, they're actually not so bad🤷♂️ I'm used to wolverine etc... In well cover 20 years I've never had any actual toe/foot/boot incident (thank God) but those sketchers are working out a heck of a lot better than I thought they would & he only paid $60. So there's that🤷♂️ Good video man 👍

One time I had a 10 by 8 industrial fitting fall on my foot and well thank God I had those steel toe's because if it wasn't for them my foot would've been toast.
I can tell this guy had fun doing this video 😂
I fly cargo for a living but I can’t stop watching your videos for some reason

Take it as a sign 👀
I'm an automotive mechanic and a bounce house business owner. I've used Walmart brand steel toed sneakers for almost 2 years now. I've rolled over them with a fork truck, had 700 lbs dropped on em, and even had it soaked in oil without a single traction issue. I spend $38 on a pair about every 6 months, and they make me about $12,000 give or take in those 6 months.
I'm curious about how well the Bellville steel toe boots the Airforce issues hold up. 🤔 I'm guessing not that great.
I wear tanker boots. If I could get them with a reinforced toe I would

How long have you had one?
Great video!!! I was clueless with regard to steel toe boots. Thanks!
And this is why they invented metatarsal guards and most welders I know love them for extra protection from sparks / blowoff getting in their boots.
If you do see someone hopping around on 1 foot and all work stops that sounds like job security to me for EMS.

You compared only steel toed boots. What about other safety toed boots like composite and carbon fiber?

Can't speak for the US but at least in Canada they have to have a CSA logo on them to show they meet and pass requirements. Would they have the UL equivalent on US boots?

Yes, in the United States, safety boots and other products that meet specific safety standards often bear the UL (Underwriters Laboratories) logo or certification mark. UL is a global safety certification company that tests and certifies products for compliance with various safety standards. Just like the CSA (Canadian Standards Association) logo in Canada, the UL mark indicates that the product has been tested and meets the required safety standards in the United States. So, if you're looking for safety boots in the US, keep an eye out for the UL mark to ensure they meet the necessary safety requirements.
