It's big, grassy, bright colors, ancient mob, adds new plants, one plant gives cyan dye which was only made with green and blue dye,it's cute, plus the first dino added to the game. 😊

I REALLY hope they add more plants in update 1.20.1 or 1.20.2.... Edit: I'm pretty sure the curvy vine plant showed in the sniffer's concept trailer that you talked about in the video was supposed to represent a question mark.

The Sniffer being a dinosaur opens up a brand new branch of lore in the Minecraft universe, which is the main reason of its success. Expect more dinosaur mobs to come in the future, the Sniffer left the door wide open.

That feeling when all the mobs from votes were a disappointment or total headache

That plant showed in the sniffer video was more like an idea, it even had the shape of this "?" to symbolize what kind of plants could there be

In my opinion, the torch flower is inspired by the kecombrang flower, considering that it looks almost the same,because like torch then it is called the torch flower, and maybe in the future, mojang will add ancient mob again after the sniffer.

I love Minecraft but I hate the development team. * The torch flower emitting light would've been cool, It's a video game let us have some fun. * The sniffer can only dig up two plants is disappointing, especially on how slightly taxing the entire process is to even find an egg.

Well, it hatches from an egg and is an ancient mob, but I'm not sure its a reptile, because two things It has ears and furr I think is a mamal, like echidnas and platypuses, wich comes from eggs too and the last one has also a beak Wich is odd are their six legs, like an arthropod

Well to be fair we dont have alot of bugs in the game, most of the being too big for the plant. Also the Pitcher Plant in Minecraft is stated to b a fictional species

​@@mizuki6799 For bedrock version (consoles, mobiles or windows 10) you must use /locate structure ruins and this command cannot locate the specific warm ruins, so you may find the cold or hot ones with it... And for Java Edition (pc) it is command /locate structure ocean_ruin_warm

The idea of him being a prehistoric mob and having that appearance makes him very close to what could be a type of dinosaur, anyway this is not specified, mojang left it a little vague saying that it is a prehistoric creature, so the community can take it as it sees fit, myself and several others like to identify it as a dinosaur, because it looks a bit like one :)

The only thing I like about it is the goofy ah animations and head and eyes

This is an unnecessary complication in my opinion. The new flowers have no real use. It takes forever to gather quantities from farming sniffers. If you spawn too many sniffers close together, it causes mad server lag. There's no good way to automate harvesting the products: the 'rail and minecart w/hopper' stops working if you leave the area or re-log and is difficult to recover the minecart from without tearing up rails to get to it. All in all they should re-think this from a bore and a chore to something fun.
