Join me for a 30 minute Standing Ab workout to tone and strengthen your core, as well as boost your metabolism with some low impact cardio exercise. This session will burn lots of calories through a series of standing pilates exercise challenges which will work the core, hips, legs, glutes, shoulders, arms and back. It's a full body session to give you a boost of endorphins without using any high impact exercises. Low impact on the joints with high intensity movements that require concentration and focus. A great workout for mind and body, especially if you're feeling sluggish from lockdown life. Prepare for shaky legs during and post class! It will be based on my Pilates and Dance background and I decided to create this routine as the last one was so popular. Loving revisiting these sessions from earlier in the year + I’ve been following you, great to feel I’ve made progress, even from 2 months ago! You’ve been a lifesaver during this pandemic, I’ve looked forward to trying out new workouts every Friday, and revisiting old favorites during the week to continue my rehab from brain surgeries. One of my old faves was the Sardinia workout, and now you’ve re-edited and reposted those, thanks for that! Between those mini-challenges, and the August Pilates Retreat I’m still working my way through (energy is finite, when I’m tired I’m tired! Have to stop and rest), I feel stronger and fitter than I ever thought I could be after my brain tumor surgeries - I was thrilled to come out the other side, grateful to be alive and in better shape than many who have such surgeries, but I felt I was prematurely old, even thought I was only 55 and pretty fit and active. You changed my life! Your positive attitude, common sense, humor, warmth and knowledge are an inspiration, and I can’t thank you enough for all you do!😁💖💪🏼🥵😉

Loved this workout. Standing workouts are my favorites and this one was wonderful. I really like how it helped a bit of stiffness in my back and shoulders. I felt great after the workout as I often do after doing your standing routines. Thanks again for a great workout.

I love your workouts. I dread workouts and usually watch the clock until it is done! But with you, it seems over and I haven't watched the clock !! I am 70 and have been doing the 15 minute video for Balance Strength and Coordination for a few years (plus I walk 3-4 miles). But I am upping my workout (as I've upped my weight..Ugh!) to your 30 minute ab work out and ordered a band to start that video. Your voice is so pleasant to listen to and I don't tire of it. From Washington State, USA: Maybe there are some folks like me out there. My muscles are quite strong and pliable. But I have balance issues due to vertigo, inner ear problems. Some of your exercises, such as balancing on one foot, lift leg and hold, these present a problem, but with a solution. I don't need to hang on to anything. Oddly, all I need to do is tap occasionally on a firm surface (a table top, a chair, the wall. Somehow the little tap registers in my brain that the position is safe. The little tap does not interrupt the effort on the muscles of my leg.
This has been one of my favorites so far. Very challenging! Many thanks!

I enjoyed the challenges in this workout. I'm a 69 year "young" senior and working on balance and coordination is perfect for me. I didn't do all of them correctly but will continue to do this one once a week so I'll get better at it. And adding some cardio is needed since I live in Texas and it's very hot outside for outdoor cardio! I do many of your other videos regularly. I like standing ones because besides being hard to get up and down, I don't have much room to work with in my small house. Thank you, Rachel!
