Ойын-сауық
Things you didn't know about the penultimate film of Tarantino's career! It sounds so weird to say that about a director who's still alive, but here we are, I guess the man's got a plan and he seems to be sticking with it.
Hope you enjoy don't forget to leave a like and subscribe, have a good one!

Yep! I’m outta here. Nice work, “host”.
The film is a total masterpiece !
I like to think that AFTER the ending, the police investigation would reveal that Sharon and company were the intended targets and in gratitude, Polanski would cast Rick in a future movie causing the trajectory of Rick's career to take a severe turn into box office stardom.
Loved the way it ended. Managed to not hear a thing about the ending, so was just anxious that the actual murder would be shown. Hopefully there is an alternative universe where the Tate murders were stopped....
Hollywood should make more of these 'What If' scenario movies based on real events.
Great movie. Loved every minute of it!
Great video! About the speedometer not going over zero, if you drove a car in the 1970s there's a 90% chance the speedometer didn't work lol. So I say it's spot-on accurate :-)
@robertmaybeth3434

Concur. My first car was a 1964 Plymouth Fury. The speedo cable was old and apparently needed oiling, but I didn't know that at the time, so the needle bounced back and forth all over the speedo at any speed over 35, rendering it, similarly completely unreadable. Same result lol
@Gamble661

Yeah, my first car was a 74 Plymouth Satellite, the speedometer and fuel gauge were both broken. Didn't care much about the speedometer but trying to guess how much gas I had was a pain in the ass.
I still don't know why people got upset over how Bruce Lee was portrayed. It's a movie. Portray anyone anyway you like. People get butthurt over the dumbest things.

Some constructive criticism. Don't know if the voiceover is AI or human, either way it needs a much better speaker.

"Once upon a time" is my favorite magnum opus and Tarantino's finest work. Living and working in Los Angeles area, I had my drive home re-routed two hours out of our way during the filming of "La La Land" on the 105 freeway. If the same thing had happened to me for the making of "Hollywood" I would have been a lot less aggravated, probably felt honored in a way. And the scene during "Hollywood" seeing the 101 freeway filled with vintage cars circa 1969, was an amazing segment of the movie and one of my favorite bits. Tarantino's amazing flair for detail in making the other cars vintage 50's and -60's was a true time capsule for me from a time when the open road was truly open, and not a congested stop and go mess for 16 hours a day! So it was very much worth it, to most of us "true" Californians anyway, for Tarantino to shut down those freeways in order to make a bit of history! Considering the final product was 100% better, and just about legendary, compared to the completely forgettable "La La Land".
My motto is: "An absolutely perfect movie has to have car chases, gun fights, and blowing sh*t up!" So, leave it to Tarantino to "Game. Set. Match." my expectations, throwing in the most beautiful pitbull as the cherry on top! My daughter, who doesn't care for violence, said this: "Usually, I don't care for gratuitous violence. However, since I know the backstory of Sharon's murder, I would say the violence was . . . warranted."

Tarantino is my favorite director of all time. While Once upon a time wasnt my favorite film by him, its incredible the amount of thought he puts into every film he makes. It just adds so much to them overall that makes them so much more enjoyable to watch.

I really enjoyed this video. great job
This is great. Thank you. 👌❤️
As great of an actor, Leo is, I think Brad Pitt had the best performance of the entire cast. Don't get me wrong, it was a great ensemble with outstanding work. But that scene with Cliff Booth at Spawn Ranch was amazing. Tarantino's passion, attention to detail, and cinematic brilliance helps too, lol. Bravo 👏 👏
No one ever mentions that, in the movie, Roman Polanski (Sharon Tate’s husband) calls his little dog Saperstein. Which is the name of the doctor in Rosemary’s Baby. Which was a huge hit for Polanski. I guess I’m just too much of a movie nerd since I feel like I’m the only person who catches that.
Someday I'm going to have to see this movie. It looks good.

They actually could have flown in the 747 because that scene was set in the future from the main story set in 1969.
I didn't see the film until a couple of weeks ago, on Netflix, and loved it. The 60s is a period that fascinates me, anyway, but I loved it that Sharon and her friends survived in this timeline.
Speeedomoter could have easily been broken
Finally watched this movie after hearing about it for years. The run time kind of put me off; very few movies hold your interest for almost three hours. I had only a very vague idea of what it was about so the ending was a very pleasant surprise. And the run time didn't matter because it's a great movie all the way through. Always loved Tarentino's movies but I think this may be his best, or maybe tied with Pulp Fiction.
McQueen was NOT supposed to be there that night, along with all the other people claiming they were supposed to be there as well.

I really, really love these type of videos. Thanks so much for these, lad. Please don’t stop haha!.
One correction needed. They weren't shooting a Green Hornet movie. It was the theme from the tv show starring Van Williams and Bruce Lee, NOT A MOVIE!
I gotta hand it to Tarentino . I grew up right in the middle of alla this. All of the “Stacy” scenes WERE RIGHT ON THE MONEY. James was a customer at “Bud Ekins Motorcycles” where I was a “Triumph” mechanic , and I used to tune James’ “650cc Triumph TR6”. And not only did he lose an arm & a leg his girlfriend was on the back and she “lost” her life. Terrible scene, and a real shame kuz Stacey HAD TALENT !
the narrators voice? Jeez
Alot of people don't know but playboy playmate Cynthia Myers was a good friend of Sharon Tate and was there that night but left early because she wasn't feeling well, I knew her personally and she was a lovely person
You deserve more views man 🔥
If you read Thomas Pynchon, he weaves historical facts within the altered reality of his novels. Interweaving to make a new story. Tarantino is great but you can't tell me he has not read Pynchon
idk what rock you live under but many stuntmen said bruce lee deff. didnt pull his punches.
I always interpreted the fight scene between Pitt and the actor playing Lee was to show just how bad ass Pitts character was to go toe to toe with Lee. Thus justifying why he easily dispatched the hippies. FYI: Bruce Lee was also supposed to be at the Tate party that night.

I can’t believe you gave away the Cliff Booth part in the book! I finally got a chance to order it from Amazon yesterday, and of all the luck, I would watch this the day before I get the novelization of the movie!!
I actually watched this film on a plane with earphones in. During the final scene, with all the violence, I was laughing extremely loud. I loved every nuance of that scene. I grew up having known the actual horrific story from a young age, so to see it unfold in Tarantino's masterpiece the way it did, was extremely satisfying. I only hope the people looking over my shoulder at what I was laughing so hard at, didn't think I was crazy.😊
If only this movie was historically accurate. Would’ve been bad ass to see a steve McQueen kick the crap out of Manson family.
Wow. My #1 movie plus if was my time as A teen. My new #1.
Cant believe I've never heard of this movie , must of came out during a jail vacation ! on my must see list for sure though !
Is like hearing two person speaking at the same time. I never felt so disturbed by someone talking like now. You start the word so high and finish is low and deep. Is really weird and hard to focus on the video.
Tarantino movies are unique in that you can see them time after time and each time you will see something you missed each previous time.
I love how DiCaprio’s character has a not-so-subtle stutter when not in front of the camera. Maybe this is a nod to Samuel L Jackson? This is one of the few movies of Tarantino’s where he didn’t make an appearance…
Kind of like a walk down memory lane. My first name is Sharon and I was 9 years old in 1969 when Sharon Tate and her friends were killed. I lived in TN then but I still remember it all in the news. Probably because Sharon and I had the same first name. Great seeing Austin Butler, almost totally unrecognizable as Tex Watson.
His movies are excellent
Jack Stuffin Plumbing van is on the freeway when Brad Pitt is driving during the day.
Tarantino asked to get into his own movie for free while on a date? What a deadbeat.
If only the movie changed true history. such a shame.

Mcqueen carried his a H&R Model 939 “Ultra Sidekick” 22 LR 9-shot revolver with a 6″ heavy barrel Untill he realized hippies lost their evilness when he cought Keith Moon in his bushes eating daisies.
There are a lot of people who hate this movie. I’m not one of them. I love it because somehow it captures that time and place so well. It’s a total vibe. I was just a kid back then, but I do remember it. It’s nostalgic for me.
@Bamboule05

What would be the reason for hating it? Because of the Bruce Lee character? Any other reason?
Only in Tarantino's crazy mind would you see him be related to George Clooney or a Stuntman be more handsome than the actor he's doubling as.
I’m so tired of people venerating Bruce Lee. Yeah, he was a great martial artist but he weighed like 130 pounds. Idc how fast he was or how many one-finger pushups he could do, a modern heavyweight fighter like Brock Lesnar would eat the first 3-4 shots, grab him, and just plain mutilate him.

@18:27 They only shut down a highway for a beloved person of the country, or the President , and True Romance is his best script and story ever 2 bad he didn't direct it ...
And them in the car at the end, speculating about killing the people in movies who taught them to kill isn't a Tarantino thing, that's him researching and taking it from audio interviews of her actually saying that post-murders.
Quentin is so full of his self.

As a voice actor & narrator thank you all for your comments. Voice actors are loosing work to this AI generated voice simulation. Continue to notice, comment & urge content creators to use human voice actors for narration. What you are hearing here is the painful absence of emotion, cadence, tone, pacing, empathy & passion. Progress does not have to mean the elimination of taste. Use your voice. Be heard. Be felt. Be human....
I think the appellative 'Once Upon a Time' is not really derived from previous film titles, and more an allusion to fairy tales - the narrative of the Tate murders being foiled by Cliff and Dalton clearly is an alternate reality - a fairy tale ending.
