30 Day Survival Challenge Vancouver Island Series: • 30 Day Survival Challe...
Greg is a self-taught survivalist from Canal Flats, British Colombia, who, since he was a boy, has read nearly every book on the topic. When he is not out in the wilderness, he is a professional dry-waller. He started his first bow drill fire when he was thirteen and spent the next forty years learning bushcraft and studying plants and edibles. He has even developed some of his own survival techniques and is a skilled hunter with both a bow and a slingshot.

I think people should also seriously look into investing of some kind. Something that brings money back to your pocket, real estate, stocks, whatever can bring back value to their bank account rather than draining it. Obviously investing has its risks but so does just having money in depreciating assets or straight up liabilities.

Big house suv. Bruh you got people driving Honda civics, living in a 1 bedroom apartment and not a luxury one at that living paycheck to paycheck. The median rent is 2000. A lot of financial professionals especially the one I work with Samuel Peter Descovich agree that one should not spend more than 30% of their gross income on rent. That means you need to make a minimum of about $80,000. Interesting considering the median income is $54,000.

Berries, I just finished making the last few batches of jam for the season. combos, strawberry/rhubarb and red raspberry/strawberry 24 8oz jars. Total 72 jelly, jams, apple butter. Several more pint jars of apple pie filling canned. I grew all the fruit and berries on the homestead along with my mini-vineyard that have several verities of grapes. All my fishing gear has been collecting dust for the past 10 years. I have moved away from the NE coast but that will change soon enough. Tackle boxes full of fresh and salt water gear and rods. Surf casting or jigging from a boat is a good time. Just like a box of chocolates , ya never know what ya going to get . Fenn needs his own saddle bags so he can bring his own food. If ya want a plastic net/bag I'll send ya one.

Greg, I have an Idea for something you can keep in your pack to use to make a fish net. The large hams or turkeys' have a plastic light weight mesh net which has a loop to hoist the meat around. It has a aluminum crimp at the loop, use pliers and remove it and you have the mesh netting to make a bush craft fishing net. Some are black or white maybe other colors I have saved several of them. You can use them to hold other camping items, maybe use to hang food off the ground away from critters or hungry dogs that like butter...🐕‍🦺🦝🦊🐻🦨 maybe make a fish trap or critter trap. Many uses for the net mesh. It will be cool to see what you come up with something worthy of the Rocky Mountain Bushcraft efforts.

What a great pair of outdoorsman! They work great together and the fact that they always positive speaks volumes of who they are as people. I enjoyed every minute of this video! It’s incredible that we get to watch this for free. Those cod are so beautiful with those hues of blue and they taste great as well!

I made myself some simple french toast while watching this, just some white bread soaked in whipped egg fried in a pan with some honey poured over them. But watching Greg and Amos enjoy that grouse made me hungry again. I am probably going to be making some kind of pasta in a few hours to sate my hunger.

I honestly love how simple you are man honestly someone was showing me your channel a year ago and was talking about how your homeless and I had started watching your videos and I told him nope your wrong he is just a simple man like a lot of my friends are so I corrected him and man look at your channel you get more and do more than anybody I have watched and your so simple and don’t need money or the most expensive things to do what your doing you just do it the items aren’t even a part of your video which is very refreshing listening to inserted adds on behalf of the creator is lame and makes ppl think they can’t camp without the top line gear but watching you proves them wrong thank you 🙏 for your genuine content..

Thank you so much for this amazing video. To both of you. Only sad part was that you put Finn in the fire squad and the poor dog had to watch how his best sticks get burned. His looks were heartbreaking. Anyway, this was nothing but amazing. All the best to you guys from Germany. Thanks and always have a save trip.

I came across this 3 hour survival video not knowing the channel at all and clicked thinking it'll help me sleep. 2 hours later I'm still mesmorised. I've got to where you start your kayaking on day 17 and have to pause to say I'm in love with this wholesome story. The music kicks in and gets me. The simplicity, the brotherhood, the serenity, the escapism... this warms my heart and soul like nothing I've ever watched before. And there's still 13 days to go 😊 I wonder what happened to your radish garden...

Survival challenge, living in the wild, knowledge on plants and the medicinal properties - Wow! - Took my time and enjoy the entire 30 Day Survival Challenge.! Big thanks to you guys for the amazing footage and the survival skills shown in this Video..... Defiantly need more. Thank you Amos, and thank you Greg... You guys Rock!!!
