I certainly appreciate this test and the work you put into it
Excellent projectile! Speer only makes excellent stuff. The gold dot rifle line is superb. I believe this one is now the pinnacle of speer production in rifle projectiles. Getting the 140's and 190's asap
Very impressed with these results. Thanks for doing this
That’s some great looking performance out of that bullet! Love the ‘06 too!
I've been looking at these I'm glad you put this out.
Excellent terminal performance! I can see why you are seriously considering using these bullets for hunting this year. I enjoyed watching this video. Thank you 😊
Excellent results. Great video as always. I’m going to add these to my list of preferred bullets. Thx.
I would love to see the load development in your videos! Keep up the good work!
Great presentation as always. I had a hunch that Speer had a good one on their hands. Sometimes, companies will overstate the BC or Hype up terminal performance.. Glad to see the Impact is a Real performer!
I've used Speer bullets for years, this is worth checking out. Thanks!
I picked up some 190gr Impacts (great price) for my 300WM. Cant wait to load them. Love Speer bullets..the GS and HC are the toughest Cup and cores and a great price.
Excellent video. Thank you.
Nice to see speer improving on the Gold dot design, I've had excellent luck with the 168gr gold dot in 308 win. I'll have to keep an eye out for these and the 6.5mm version as well for my 6.5 Swede. Great video and great bullet.
Excellent video as always. Thanks for the tip on Speer. Nosler and Barnes availability is rough at times.
Great video!
Fantastic. Impressive. Good data. Encouraging. Zeroing & chronograph footage can't hurt. I didn't know this offering was out there. Thanks for heads up. Please get some 7mm and test if possible. I am definitely interested.
Great review. Thanks
Good Review ! I would like to see your sight in groups since accuracy also part of the decision making when choosing a bullet ! Thanks
Thanks for the video!
Can't wait for y'all to test the 190gr out of a 300wm. Coming soon???
Just shot a 5/8” 100 yard group with .264 140 gr Impacts with a first test load in my T3x chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. Apparently the rifle likes them and with performance like that, the Ballistic Tips might start gathering dust. Thanks for doing the work and sharing!

Getting ready to do the same in a 6.5-284. What kind of jump are they liking for you?
Are you kidding me??? Weight retention of over 90%??? That is CRAZY GOOD. Okay, I am interested.
I bought a box today of the 190gr for my 300WM. I've been using the Nosler Partition 180gr seemingly forever and wanted to try something new. I have used the Speer 165gr BTSP in my 308WIn with great success.
Excellent!
Impressive bullets.
I like how thin the jackets are on these vs Accubonds. Also the price is almost half. I’ll have to try these out! Thanks
Great video. This bullet is a sleeper. Its readily available, around $37 for 50 bullets.
If my 06 and 300 win didn’t shoot accubond and interbond so well I’d tinker with 172 for the 06 and 190 for the 300. But I’ll probably do it just for tinkering sakes. Great video 🤟
I have been a big fan of Speer bullets for more than 30 years. The old hot cor is much better than what is gets credit for. Thanks for a great video. You might be interested in some of the videos on my channel. Keep up the good work Subbed

I really like the Hot-Cor bullets myself. An early, bonded style projectile that still performs quite well.
Would love to see the same test but from the 190gr impact loaded in the 30.06 from you guys !
Good Stuff!
Well done. They are accurate with 57.1gr of IMR4350.
The 190’s would be good to see in a 308 would be a good to see how far down they still expand. Great information Another helpful:great vid Thanks Rejects…..😅
I’m thinking that this would work fairly well in the 308.
Looks like it's going to replace my 165 grain gamechangers in my '06.
These are impressive. Hopefully some1 loads these in a factory option
That a bad ass bull.
I would love to see the 139gr Evostrike bullet by Norma ammunition. I have seen that ammo in 308 and 300 win mag. It looks to be a crazy wicked bullet.

I'm hoping to get my hands on some in the future
Looks like this bullet will be the one used in federal new fusion tipped. Id bet $$ this is the exact projectile being used in the new fusion line
Please review the .243
So if you had to choose between this and the 168ttsx from a 308, which would you choose?
How did your BC "true out" vs advertised?
I'm looking at these in a 7mmprc 175 grain but u looking at 300 fps more u think they would hold together?
What is the BC value?
What were your Muzzle Velocities for these loads?
Is this more or less a tipped Gold dot? Performance looks exactly the same as the performance of their Golddot (140gr) fired from a 6.5 creed and 120gr from the 6.5 grendel. Hard to beat Speer. Great performance!
I had never hear of the Impact before. Interesting option. I think Speer does a terrible job of differentiating the bullets from each other on their boxes. When I do find some in stock, it is hard to tell the difference between the Grand Slam and Hot Cor. I have some 6.5 Gold Dots, why are they special Speer?
What mountains are those? Looks familiar.
I believe Speer made the commercially offered Trophy Bonded Bear Claws years ago and perfected the jacket bonding process. Like the Gold Dot bullets it starts with a lead slug close to size then the copper jackets are electroplated on producing a perfect molecular bond. It wouldn't surprise me if Speer was supplying Federal with their new Tipped TBBC as well as their Fusion bullets both loaded in their factory loads.

Know for a fact speer makes the fusions. They're pretty much a gold dot without the lube coat

@@livingintheLight. then my guess was good. Besides, who wants to argue with the son of God. I bought 5 boxes of 150 grain 30-06 Fusion ammo last year planning to hunt deer with my Garand this year.

@@livingintheLight. when I was still on the job we used Fed GMM .308 in our rifles and we had Fed Tactical .308 with TBBC 165 grain for barrier penetration. Example first shot through plate glass then 168 grain GMM following for accuracy shots. But the TBBC ammo mainly got used by the hunters in the unit and it was outstanding on big Alberta whitetails!

@@14goldmedals the demils I got are 95gr 6mm and I load them in 6arc and 243win. I'm a fan of speer bullets. Sucks turdeau is making y'all look like bitches
What is minimum twist rate on these bullet in 172 and 190 gr?

The standard 1 in 10" of the .30'06 should stabilize them just fine.
Please try that bullet in 300 win mag
What is your barrel length?

I’d love to see them in a heavy 7mm. For the price and quality, I’d rather spend half the money of what the cost is for the nosler ablr bullets and sacrifice nothing in quality.
I personally don't think black bear as large game dangerous game sure I dont have a ton of experience with bears only shot one so far. It feels like black bears die eaiers than deer do. Might be the muscle density.
Remington is loading these bullets in their long range premiere line.... Excellent
