Trying to get some decent accuracy out of 117 gr BTSP in my Remington 700 SPS. If this next next set doesn't work out, just picked up some 117 gr SSTs. Powders used have been IMR4350, IMR4831, VV N550, and VV N165. Haven't been able to get below 1 1/4" groups @ 100 yds. Good luck and stay safe!!! 😉😉😉

I too wasn't able to get good results with 117's so I went to the 110's and both speed and accuracy improved allot. Best wishes on your future results.
You are humble Dave. I appreciate that. You are definitely not average.

Great shooting Dave. The 25-06 has a following for sure. I use RL22 in my 264 win mag but it has been very hard to find recently. Thanks for another great video

Howdy Dave! Great groups...that's a fine shooter with some great reloads! Take care!

Dave. Another good video with great shooting. Very nice SD's. I tend to get a pretty wide spread. Thanks for sharing and take care.

Great shooting, Browning rifles usually are accurate. The rest of this comment is more concerning your last video. I find that the magneto speed tends to walk regardless of the barrel, so I normally wrap some electrical tape around the barrel to give the chronograph more traction. However, the thumb nut still needs to be cranked hard when shooting 300WM

@@carlwilliams6300 Sad to say in my younger and dumber years, 850yds on an Buck Antelope with a 300 Win Mag. It was a lucky shot. With the 25-06 a good sized Muley Buck @480 yds.
It’s very good load. ❤

Good Mornin' Mike
I am a 25/06 user as well. I have taken elk and moose with my mods 700. Still shoots bugholes. I would like to see a comparison of bottleneck lever action rifles. Box magazine type I have a few, they are great horseback and don't give up much to a turnbolt in the accuracy department. Browning chambers them in some pretty high intensity rounds, so does Henry. Savage , Winchester and others in the past also have. (MIROKU does now)

Thanks for your comments here. Lever action rifles with box mags seem to be making a choice among many hunters.
Have you used the Hot Core to take any animals? I'm thinking of using them for antelope. I've always used Sierra's before.

That rifle is a shooter! Great video Sr.. the RL 23 powder looks interesting, How many grains are you putting for 25-06 and 100 grains bullets

Fortunately, I use these powders in only a few rifles, so my existing supply will last awhile.
The 25-06 is a timeless performer. It's nice to see someone working with the 100 grain pills. One of the few calibers that can go from varmints to Elk. Last note is you have the habit of immediately putting your trigger finger in the trigger guard after you chamber the round and before you have your head down on the rifle and on target. Not a great practice. Feel free to delete the comment after you read it. It is meant to be constructive criticism.

Thanks for watching. Finger in the trigger guard yes, finger on the trigger no, until tready to shoot. Just my preference.
