I agree about the rake for sure. Putting a little bit of weight in the back of the truck and having it sag isn’t the way it supposed to be unless you’re going for that look.

We have a 2017 gmc Z71 double cab. 4x4. It has 265 70R17 tires on aftermarket rims. They sit flush with the fenders. I spent days looking for a leveling kit then came across the motofab. We had the 3” kit that came with 3” block in the front with 2” block in the rear with the upper control arms. Honestly after everything is said and done, you need to replace the upper control arm bolts. Our truck was aligned with zero rubbing. I noticed the truck is more responsive. For some reasons the upper control arms are a weak design. Besides the upper control arms make it pop.

I was going to buy some 20x9 with a 33" wheel now having second thoughts after reading the cons of going bigger on a truck that came with 18" stock wheels and tires. I dont mind the loss of a couple mpg but a few little things liken the truck not accelerating like it use and possible having to regear the truck. I just read a few things that might impact the truck by going bigger. Was curious on your thoughts Thanks again!

Runnings 20s and 33s aren’t crazy in my opinion.. it’s once you bump to 35s and what not where it seems 1/2 ton gas trucks get sluggish. I ran my 20x12s and 33s a good 25k miles and had no issues. Lost about 2-3mpg average but wasn’t bad. Still was able to do burnouts without ease 👌🏼

And the rear wheels jump over bumps at the store, as the shock now is more extended, so the suspension is getting to the maximum travel wth very little bumps. I got them from American Trucks, it seems they don't want to take responsibility of the product they are selling, they sent me to talk to the manufacturer.
