Grapeseed oil works well for eczema too. Apply after bath time to damp skin, my doctor always told me to try and get the oil or lotion on within two min after you get out the shower so your skin can absorb and get the full benefits. I also started using it on my face under my moisturizer and dang if it hasn't smoothed and evened out my skin tone. Anyways just another little natural thing you could look into trying as well. Have you great day you guys! :-)

There's a cream called First Aid sold by QVC and I think Ulta. It's a little pricey but you can usually get great deals this time of year. Originally this cream was made for extremely dry skin but they found it was working on eczema also. Needless to say it's now approved to work on eczema. I used it on my granddaughter and it worked beautifully!

My son had really bad eczema when he was a baby, i tried multiple creams and wash and the only thing that works is the cerave baby line, i use the shampoo and wash all over his body, hydrating cleanser for his face and the cerave baby lotion/cream all over his body and face. I use the cream during winter since it is thicker and works much better. Up to now he still uses them and he is now 3!

If this video didnt help you, there is a technique called wet wrapping, lather up in vaseline or aquaphor and put damp cotton cloths and let it sit. Babies would use a damp sleeper outfit organic cotton if you can find it. Hope this helps someone.

Castor oil helped my daughter's skin when nothing else worked , you can get it at Walgreens for $3 it comes in a little glass bottle & goes a long way & I also used Gold Bonds Eczema Lotion these two things got it under control after years of nothing else working & I also did my own oatmeal bath as well & it helped with the itching a lot . I have a son now & he has it as well , along with what I am using I was looking for other ways to help him .

Eczema is mostly caused by internal factors. If you can, you can manage your babies diet and see what works vs what causes your baby to flare up. With my eczema, I notice when I eat too much sugary foods, I tend to flare up. So I manage that and eat more healthy foods. Also, the weather is a factor for me as well (cold dry weather cause my skin to flare up and be EXTREMELY dry). Good luck to you and your baby.

We tried all kinds of things including the Shea Butter and all other kinds of creams on our 4 month old and what did the trick for us was an oatmeal bath in the morning (5 mins to 10 max) then we padded dry, added Aveno Eczema baby and 3 to 5 mins after we put some Maizena on our baby which is nothing more than corn starch. We repeated steps 2 and 3 at night before bed and in 3 days all our baby's eczema was completely gone. Praise God, if you are having eczema issues with your baby 100% try the bath, lotion and maizena combo.

Colloidal oatmeal is hands down the best treatment for my kids. I find that the Aveeno packets work the best for some reason. I have bought Walmart’s Equate brand and I’ve also made my own, but Aveeno was the best. We also found SkinFix at Target and it helped my daughter who was COVERED in eczema :( ALSO, what helps us is switching up products... what works one week won’t work next week. That’s just from or personal experience, so we have a bunch of lotions, creams, & ointments in our house.

Hi April, I massaged my son with coconut oil and let him sit in oatmeal bath for a few minutes and I instantly noticed a difference. However there is a controversy on how often should a baby with eczema be bathed... would you please share how often you bathed Jacob. My son is 3 months with eczema and I would do anything to find a good routine to stick to 😭 thanks

Liliane Agasaro i was advised by a health visitor to wash them daily as it gets rid of the dry dead skin exfoliate ur baby’s dry patches with a towel as well. I apply cream on my baby every nappy change and remember there’s a difference between cream and ointment so access which ur babies skin is taking well to aveeno baby emollient with the navy blue packaging is great hope that helps I’m still seeing what works but I hope it helps at least it’s somewhere to start x

Hands down breastmilk works the best!!! Milk baths homemade breastmilk lotion or just straight breastmilk on the skin.

Gonna try the oatmeal in the baby bullet. I’ve found that eucerin baby lotion for my little girl. She’s 3 months and has eczema on her cheeks and patches on her back. Since using the eucerin baby it was gotta 99% better. It’s a a little greasie but very moisturizing and worth it. 👍🏽

Some babies has the opposite reaction to oatmeal. If your baby gets worse, please stop using oatmeal and products that contains oatmeals.

I had small patches of eczema and cured it employing this eczema guide. I seen good results utilizing the guide and later on applied it to mend the eczema impacted areas of my face and it also seemed to be reliable. It minimized the skin breakouts and just tends to make my skin really feel much more healthy.. the guide name in the reply below
