3 Ways to Customize Text Entry Variables in Articulate Storyline 360

There's a trigger on the slide layer that changes the character state on the base layer when the timeline begins. Here's the source file if it helps: d.pr/f/lJHoeo Let me know if you have any questions.
Hi David, the interaction you show at 09:04 is exactly what I'm trying to accomplish, but it never works for me. In the @cbtcafe video you pinned below he even shows that you have to click out of the text entry box before you can hit enter. Did Articulate break something in the newer updates?

Good one, Nathan! Took me a couple tries to figure out what was going on. We updated how text entry fields with a multi-line checkbox: bit.ly/3x8lO5M If you uncheck that option, the enter key should work.
