Being shifty isn't about making defenders look silly or keeping them on skates, it's about efficiently using your feet and handle to create opportunities off the bounce for both yourself and teammates. In today's video, guard-guru Coach Drew breaks down his Top 3 ways on how to become shifty where it matters most: in the games!

can u give some tips on how to score more often in a 5v5? i can drop so many points in SOME 4v4s, and 3v3 2v2 1v1 half court but in full court sets i can never find a good opening. it feels like its too suffocating to layup or go for a shot without having 3 people crash on you

Well one the spacing, if you aren’t moving without the ball man it’ll be hard just standing because there’s so many people, but like just moving without the ball to open spots or curling to the basket you’ll get open shots eventually or when you get it make people move

  • @mcmerry2846

Read the defense, your guard means 0. You can get him by easily in a 5v5...call for screens attack the weak side of the defende, do not attack when there are 4 in the paint...move the ball, force the defense to move.
