The buyback trick is straight up from openai. The bots used to bb really early on supps which like you said gives a big advantage on fights

I always try to analyze things that I needed to improve as a player so I discovered it last 2 to 3 months ago when I saw a youtube tutorial about lane equilibrium. Things are always been there, people just don’t recognize. So with that, I guess you don’t have the rights to discredit my statement.

Andrey Oliveira Hahaha additional thoughts for you. You don’t need to half pull everytime. If only deemed necessary. Sometimes you just need to let them for the sake of lane to be equal and not too risky for your core to do his laning.

probably rightfully so. there is a very fine line between jungling uselessly, making yourself a non factor in the game (and take away farm from your cores), and jungling smart under very specific circumstances. TBH I think most supps dont have a good enough understanding of the game to know what is what. However, I do agree that supps should play more greedy in general

Breaking monitors is the real trick here to make your players feel motivated in life.

People forget that professional casters and analysts do a lot of research beforehand, which would also explain how it helps them commentate or point out how other players lane and interact with each, how their drafting strengths are and even helps them remember the names of obscure teams and players in lower tier professional Dota.

What really strikes me about the half pull is it solves the biggest issue of pulling- if you miss a pull through you end up fucking up creep equilibrium, but if just the ranged or ranged and a melee both die but the wave timings are the same, you'll get the wave pushing into your tower anyways, even if slightly less pronounced. And with the minimal downtime needed to guard it I don't see many downsides

Now i have to deliberately half pull. I usually do that especially when the enemy support tryhards to contest the pull. Now the benefits are better than full committing the wave to the pull.

Jenkins you can access replays more than a week old. If you go to opendota and download the replay and put it in your replay folder and then there is a console command that you can use to force play that specific file

I've actually done the pos5 buyback! And have gotten the gold back from the buyback almost immediately upon re entering the fight.

I'm a position 5 player, religiously, and I get annoyed whenever I only half pulled the creeps, but watching this video makes me change my perspective about half pulling. Hahaha! I also do jungle once in a while as a position 5 player, especially when I'm using Grimstroke (to build Aether Lens) or Snapfire (to build Mekansm or Rod of Atos), and lastly, I always buyback at teamfights hoping I can make an impact and give my team an advantage. a couple of days ago, someone in the enemy team in my bracket (legend/ancient) tried to do exactly what you said in a recent video about zai blood solo in offlane with veil first item. me and my support absolutely destroyed him. and then when they lost the game, the entire team was blaming him for telling the pos 4 to leave him alone there. i think the problem is that the strategy will not work if not performed by someone really high level in dota (like, atleast divine) as it is for most of the thing you say it works on your videos. you cant give a chimp an ak47 and expect him to actually kill his enemies. chances are he will probably kill himself first by accident.
