I’m a 22 year old males college and still a virgin waiting until marriage it’s hard and sometimes my family and friends ask me a lot about my sex life. Which is sad but I am still holding on. And doing God’s will.

Brother in Christ I pray that you make Jesus your strength in moments you feel weak. I pray that all demonic attempts to get you off your road be stopped and destroyed through the help of The Holy Spirit. I pray that you learn to master your thoughts, because being a virgin is part of it but being a master over your thoughts is a big part of it. I pray that you don’t fall into sexual immorality and that if you do you seek the face of God with true repentance and fight those temptations. Most importantly I pray that if your desire is to be married one day that you grow to be the leader God intended you to be. That you walk in the purpose you were created to. That you learn biblical love. So that you’ll be prepared to lead a family spiritually and be prepared to understand sacrificial love. I pray all of this in Jesus Christ’s name. Yesterday I was watching a video and learned that when ppl reject you for doing things like remaining celibate, a virgin, abstinent, not drinking excessively, and not smoking they’re rejecting God. Because we should be doing these things for God and from the right heart posture. It’s not that you choose to stay a virgin for yourself only but because you do it for God. You do it to honor Gods standard. When you’re in Christ your body is no longer your own and Christ becomes LORD over your life. Ppl on the outside don’t understand these things and may reject them but it’s becayse they don’t understand or know any better. However, since you understand and know better you should walk out your faith in front of them and when they ask you the question don’t shy away from answering it. Answer in a way that brings God glory. Don’t be ashamed or feel less than because of what you may imagine others might think. I know the struggle is real out here for my brothers which is why I prayed all the things I did up there. But as I stated the great thing is in your weakness Gods strength is made perfect. So bring your desires to God praying that his will be done and that he helps you fight temptation and sin.

This was helpful! As a teen who is in Gods kingdom I often struggle with impurity. Being a virgin I find myself getting curious of certain things. I notice that curiosity can spark impure thoughts and that is not what I’m called to do. I want to serve God with all my heart regardless

I wonder how married people feel when their spouses travel far away for long but yea, this is a genuine situation where the purity training is still relevant in marriage.

This is what we need as Christians

I'm just now watching this video and it made me see I'm thinking on the right track to become closer to God. Ive been in church throughout my life but just the past year made me really just surrender my life and everything of me to God and I became celibate for the second time. But this time I'm waiting until I get married. It took me a while to come to this conclusion because I thought I would be judged or looked at a certain way. But to be honest it does matter what you do in life you will be judged by someone but it's not about people. I'm only trying to please God and only God so it doesn't bother me when people seem shocked because I know it will benefit my life in the future as far as my future family and life as a whole being one with God.

One thing God has revealed to me is that it is more than just physical purity. It is also about mental purity. Like they said, feed yourself on the word of God! That is difficult for me, but God is helping me. And yes, pray your sex drive not away but to be aligned by His will. Pray over each area of the body that is sexual. Trust me, He will shut it down. This is coming from someone who was stuck in sexual sin, masturbation, for years.

We should stay pure because we are to be vessels of honor unto God and He cannot use an unclean vessel. It is a long and hard battle but it's all worth it. 🙏🙏🙏

This video was so good! I’m in my celibacy journey and I have went back and forth with wanting to give my life back to Christ but not wanting to walk with Christ fully. I’m at the point now where I don’t want to walk in the way I been doing things and I want to do it the Lords way. I know what I’m watching and listening to is a process but I know that can affect my purity.

Man when I tell you as I watch it’s as if I am encountering God because I fell and I started praying instead of what I used to do which is run away from God (testimony) and I felt in spirit God had been leading me to do these very things you just mentioned! Keep ALL of God’s commandments and fear Him. This is the only secret to living a pure and Godly life. Don’t just focus on abstaining from sex. That’s just a start and it’s a good important start but do everything that God tells us to do.
