As a black man I am very concerned for young black kids in this country. It’s not that the media is adding more of a spot light on black people it’s black people adding a spotlight to themselves with these senseless crimes. They 3 deserve everything they’re going to get for this stupid behavior. Go get a job. Go to school. I am a 50 year old man who committed a crime with I was 19 ai spent time for that crime. I chose to do better while I was in there. I got out. Changed my friends, the way I dress, the way I talked, walked, acted and so on. I found God in jail. And God has been with me ever since. Now an older man as software engineer, living in a large beautiful home outside of Dallas. 3 adult kids who are college graduates and professionals. I came from the same place these young men came from. All black projects will little to no opportunity. I wanted to do better. I understand this criminal mind of these kids but all you have to do it the right thing and good things will happen for you. These guys have waited their life and will spend a majority of their life in prison. I feel so bad for Patricia. She did not deserve to die like this on vacation in the United States.

The family will not receive justice. The guilty go unpunished. The city is welcome to say whatever they like, but you will learn to accept this as your new normal. You have ineffectual, spineless judges who are too scared to punish the guilty. At a guess, when all is said and done: Reduced sentences, due to age. The third striker might do, what? 10 years? Maybe. The other two probably get "sentenced" to 5 to 10, reduced down to less on appeal, and get out in 2 or 3 with good behavior. Charges will probably be reduced to aggravated assault or some other ridiculous weasel word. Murder is not murder. Justice is dead.

You KNOW California is done when you can't even shop at Fashion Island, in Newport Beach! in the afternoon, without getting killed.
