    Don't be fooled curly hair can be hit or miss on a transplant dependent upon whether or not your doctor/technician has the experience. The main reason is because curly hair can have a curvature at the root of the hair follicle. If the punch used for the graft is too narrow or punched at an incorrect angle it will damage and likely kill the graft even through the healing process.

    Hey would this work? Lets say you have a poor donor region and with given adequate time the surgeon has extracted all the hair follicle from what was available on your donor region(back of head) to a point where the donor region has turned bald. (Like if you use all the hair from donor given multiple sessions). Now the back of ur head would be bald. Now if you transplant required amount hair from your chest or beard or pubics to back of ur head u could regain ur hair. Since most of the time we keep back of our heads shot and trimmed it would barely be noticeable and also we dont need much density in the back of our head. And then finally your front mid and crown should have been covered with good density from your own scalp excluding any other mixture of beard or chest hair. Is this possible??

    Hi Matt I have been asking alot if diabetes type 1 can do the hiar transplant. Some says its impossible for someone who depends on insulin injections (like me). And just now one doctor said that I have to use Metformin instead of the insulin injections for one week because insulin make Blood clotting. Can you ask and make more information? I will ask my doctor but I would like to hear from you. Like maybe you can ask Doctors who have done the hiar transplant for people with diabetics type 1. Or maybe you can find good doctors who have experience in hiar transplant for diabetics type one.

    What I notice with many guys who get hair transplants is, after it has successfully grown out, that they combed or slick their hair back. Pretty sure a hair transplant isn’t noticeable depending on the style a guy combs his hair. I’m looking into getting a hair transplant, and I plan to combed my hair from the side while the rest of the hair flops over to cover my forehead. It’s the style I’ve always preferred and find more attractive to use. This way, I don’t have to style my hair in a way that a transplant is noticeable.

  • @letsgethair

    @letsgethair

    5 жыл бұрын

    Nope, I don´t think so. Definitely not a replacement for a hair transplant. It will only boost the blood flow on the scalp and also the absorption of some topicals like rogaine or topical DHT blockers but not in such way that it will rebuild your lost hairline. The earlier you start with it, the better the results can be expected I think.

    Hi Matt, I’ve had 2 x hair transplants over the last few years. my hair looks pretty good in my opinion however I would like one more transplant in the future to consolidate the density and fill in the gaps in my mid section and crown.obviously I have limited donor area left. I need to go to a good clinic to finish the job right but here’s the question: we talk about having enough donor area left to make the hair look natural and realistic, but , could it not be possible to utilise more donor area at the bottom sections of the sides and back of the head (so there’s little or no hair left) and then get micro pigmentation (tattoo effect) on the sides and back where the hair has been taken. By doing this the donor area would look like a grade 1/2 shaved head at the back and sides and then it would blend up into the hair naturally. Therefore more donor area is used but more density on top which is the goal. We always see people getting micro pigmentation on the front hairline and top of the head to stop them from looking bald but what about people who want to have a look of more hair at the back and sides (especially after donor area extraction). Cheers

    That' s what I also considered, I Think it must be possible to get the illusion of a buzz cut on the sides with about 2- 4 MM shaved head!! I ' ve seen sn example of HIS SMP Clinic from London, where they have tatooed the left side of a head of a young boy, who has burned his skin and there was no hair left. So it looked like a buzz cut on the sides!

    @@maxym.8958 yeh exactly , take all of the hair from the sides and back and put it on the top of your head for massive/extra density and then get micro pigmentation on the sides and back for a buzz cut look where all the donor area has been depleted. Makes sense no? I can never imagine ever needing the hair on the back and sides in the future. I mean would it ever look good to have long hair at the back and sides and have a bald head on top ??????

I think as you said in your previous videos that Baldness is a progressive thing so even if he were to have had a Transplant ( he is dead now so not possible) the supposedly safe donor region was not really safe after all. Something to be warned of for Men. Many factors involved with Transplants.

    The guy on the left went with his natural hairline and the guy on the right tried to rebuild a completely new hairline. As a result, it looks terrible. I see lots of young men doing that nowadays. They want the hairline low, a flawless straight line running across their forehead, with precise angles in the temporal area. Perfect symmetry on both sides of the head. It looks so ridiculous and so fake lol. You have to keep it looking natural. So, if you have natural recession at the temples, a kind of M shape to your hairline, then keep some of that recession. Dont try and rebuild your hairline from scratch halfway down your forehead lol. Nobody will be fooled by that. You will look stupid.

    The donor area is that small 2 inch by 5 inch rectangle area at the back of the head. Acceptor region is like 6 inch by 6 inch region from front to back of head. Unless medical field comes up with a way to transplant abundant body, this method similar to hair fall prevention meds, is useless. Waste of money and holidays.
