Scotty, I have the same issue on my 2001 Lexus ES 300 as the Camry you last showed with the front end clunking. I replaced the struts but its still there although less severe. My mechanic had it for a week and couldn’t find anything which I was in a way glad to hear that he wasn’t charging me for work that didn’t need to be done. I will try the AT-205 and see what happens. Thanks

In a former life I serviced CB radios at a truck stop. I talked with a number of drivers about deer defenders and how they work. They do work...... BUT, do not use them where you might find a moose. Cover them with tape so they will not emit any sound. That sound agrivates a moose and they come looking for the source. One driver came across a moose standing on the road and not too interested in moving. After about 10 minutes the driver blew his air horn. When the resulting actions by the moose were done the driver was sitting on top of the tractor cab and they towed the truck away. Don't agrivate a moose.

Gosh darn it, I wish I could take my Honda Accord 1989 for you, Scotty to check it over! I am in Spain, and mechanics of the old school are few and far between. Last time I took it to the dealership with a choke and stalling problem, immediately driving away after paying, I exited the Honda dealership --- my Honda was actually running worse than when I took it in and I wasn't about to go back so they could screw it up even more. My conclusion is to stay away from Honda dealerships if I can. I will try to understand, using the repair manual I downloaded from the web, the working of my beloved 1989 Honda Accord Ex carbureted, and fix it myself if I can. Thank-you Scotty for the straight talk.

My Yaris had a rough rumble idle even tho tack showed smooth 900rpm steady. It was annoying being in drive and stopped I’d have to put in neutral so I changed out all the plugs and coils and went away! It only had 100k miles at time. But also strangely after I randomly lost acceleration would cut out during take off and stumble after getting gas. To hard starts to only starting with start spray in air box and then that wouldn’t keep it running and code was saying all were misfiring ( changed fuel pump filter combo and fixed! But even that didn’t set off the engine light until misfire started!)

I bought the battery size to fit the entire battery compartment. 🙂 Otherwise, there was a plastic blocker at the bottom of the battery compartment (on one side) for smaller battery sizes. Exactly 100 Ah battery went inside. There was less than 0.15 inches (4 mm) of space around it. Perfect 👍🙂 BMW E46 2000 Chassis - The battery is at the back inside the trunk. Very good if you need power in the back for a radio amplifier, etc. 🙂 As the main cable has to go to the engine at the front, you have a small box on top to hook up a car test devices, etc, so you have +12v front and rear 👍🙂

I just sold my 2014 tacoma Sport to my son in law, and I bought a lexus nx a 2019 with 24 km's its smells like a brand new car. It's got turbo and its very very comfortable. It's a peppy little suv and I love it and the wife loves it too. She didn't like the Truck so I compromised and got a mid size Suv. Yeah the Dealer of course offered me a new warranty package and I completely skipped on that it was a total scam that I knew. I never had trouble with my Tacoma so I doubt it I'll have trouble with this Nx. These warranties are totally in their favor no matter how they try to twist it, and convince you that it's for your need and benefit. LOL

Ok, I'm going to ask but I think k I know the answer. Got a 2007 ford taurus with 200000 miles. It developed a shudders and the check engine light is on. Read the code and it flaged #5 cylinder misfire. I changed the plugs, wired, swapped injectors, ran cleaner down in and still get the misfire on 5. Does not smoke, when I rev the engine the shudders goes away. While reading the codes the fuel trim( both shot and long] constantly jump widely. Would like suggestions or to I just have to take it out in the pasture and shoot it. Thanks

Had a ‘94 Dodge Ram that ended up having to have the fuel rail cleaned due to gas trash gumming up the rail in their metal fuel rods. Was a pain cause the dealer had no clue what was causing chugging in the engine

Have you ever heard of or used a Fuel System cleaner by Chevron Oil called Techron. Techron is also blended in the Gasoline fuel that comes out of the Gasoline Pump when you fill the gas tank. I use the Techron fuel system cleaner every 3,000 miles. I buy the product at Walmart, or at Costco or at Advance Auto Parts stores.

Recommend by Ford tech on cleaning the diodes by using Techron to dissolve the sulphur in the fuel gauge. Electric pump works fine. Used 10 bottles through 10 gas fills. Bought two Motorcraft electrical fuel pumps from America Muscle ready to go. They were on sale at 100 bucks under msrp.

Diodes either work or don't. Electronic Parts spray cleaner may clean dirty traces on a printed circuut board causing short circuit. Fuel gauge dial in instrument cluster could be stuck from contaminants. Shot of CRC Cleaner may fix it.
