Wish I could afford the kit. You may want to consider offering only the monomer and one jar of powder or even a trial size, so we could try it first.

I bought your acrylic kit a while ago Suzie and let me tell you I LOVE it so so much. I’ve only been doing acrylics for about a couple months and once I built up a basic knowledge of the skill I decided to buy something more professional (I started out with the cheap kiss acrylic kit) I knew right away that you were my first choice of where to buy from, I purchased your brushes, files, and acrylic kit and I instantly fell in love with the product. It’s super high quality and people might think it’s too expensive but you can tell that the quality is beyond amazing and I personally think it’s completely worth it, I have no problem spending money for a great quality product. It helped my skill skyrocket and it helped me so much because it’s so easy to work with. Thank you so much for the wonderful product Suzie!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but dip powders got me thinking. The base coat is essentially nail glue, while the powder is the polymer and the activator is monomer. It's interesting how companies came up with a flip on an old technique 🤔

Came here looking for information on mma and acryllic adhesives and i have yet to find a "beauty" video where they actually understand the science. You are somewhat correct the methyl methacrylate (mma) or etyhl methylacrylate (ema) acts as a monomer in conjunction with the poyder creating a polymer which is hard and resistant to breaking or chipping and is somewhat flexible.

So base coat is glue. The activator is the spray that Hardens the glue. Literally the activator spray we use for the rhinestone glue to harden. Lol you’re right it’s just the same materials different “safer” more “expensive” more “new method “. way lol

Love that you did a video on this!!! I’m newer to nails (2 years licensed but only recently started working) and bought an orderless monomer mostly just to clean my brushes at home. I decided one day to try it out bc it’s not something we were provided in school and I looooooved how much easier the acrylic was to work with! BUT, no one uses it in salons that I know of (not the one I’m currently working in either) not to mention most ppl frown upon it saying its hard to work with. So for those reasons I haven’t tried it in the salon. But after this I think I’m going too! I do feel like it files easier as well!

I'm circling back around after using this kit for a while. I find the products to be very high quality and true to it's claims. I didn't care for the tackiness at first, but it beats listening to family members complain about the regular monomer smell. And the self leveling of these products is amazing and makes filing next to none. I did not experience yellowing or discoloration as some have claimed below in comments.

That’s great - you get it . Others who are having isssues with discolouration are using it like a traditional. It’s hard when something different comes along It can be confusing But it sure does work when used correctly And YES when you’re not used to it the tackiness does throw you off but once you wrap your head around it and get past it it’s amazing. Thanks for giving it another try and seeing its value

Hey Suzie! I LOVE neons....for summer I typically do dip on my nails and gel polish on my toes. For punch, so the neons pop, I put a white layer under each. The extra layer is messing up my cuticles areas. For lack of a better word, they look chunky. I’ve considered an e-file to clean them up, but I haven’t had a lot of success with the cheap one I purchased previously. I’ve always been a DIYer with beauty so I’m frustrated that my awesome neons don’t look like I want them to! Any advice,

I ordered mine last week and I’m so excited to start playing and my husband is excited that it’s odourless or he’d probably kick me out.

Suzy, I just watched your video on your odorless monomer. I’m very intrigued with its slow cure and feel it’s acgame changer. I’m curious, however, on the need for primers. Is nail prep the same method? Have you had any issues on lifting? How is your odorless monomer better than others? I’ve read reviews on other odorless monomers and they haven’t been very good. What makes yours better? Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

How does your monomer fare compared to the Max adhesion (naio nails - Kirsty Meakin :) monomer? Is it slower or about the same as Max Adhesion? I like the M.A. monomer, gives me time to play around some.

I only recently started doing acrylics, and what struck me the hardest was all that strong foul smell... crikey... I havent got my hands on odorless in my country, but it has to be here somewhere, or I just order it from Suzie.

Hi Suzie, thank you for showing us the difference between the monomer and regular solution, I had no idea that the monomer gave you that many extra beads, but even better it has a longer time before curing, I will definitely have to try it, because I totally get frustrated with the old solution and always ended up messing up my nail to the point of discouragement, and wonkie nails that I had to take off because of sheer embarrassment, I will definitely have to try it, thank you

Have you ever tested the poly gel that comes in a tube? I’d love to experiment but don’t know which to buy.

When my nails were short, stubby and bitten I got them to grow out by using nail forms instead of tips, because there wasn't really enough nail there for the tip to hold onto. I started off just sculpting a nail that was barely longer than my real nail, and every time it started to grow out I'd just leave it and fill it in instead of filing down any length and a few months later my nails were longer, and more importantly my nail beds were longer. You have to start short and small and gradually work your way up to longer nails. :)

I am glad you posted this video. I love doing acrylic nails, but I can't handle the smell 😩 of the traditional liquid. I being doing nails for 3+ years now since my doctor will not allow me to work. I got diagnosed with a rare cancer in 2016. It is frustrating not being able to work. So i started watching nail videos. I taught myself to do nails. I love watching your videos. I love learning from you and others on KZread.

Hi Suzie! I have learned so much from watching your videos. I myself started doing my own nails during the pandemic. I wish I found this video before investing on another company and I bought way too much ☹️. Do you sell the odorless monomer by itself?

How can you speed up the curing process on orderless monomer? Or what is the key to cure the acrylic faster when using it so you not waiting forever on it to dry.

I have your acrylic set and I think it's great. I am new to acrylic nails, just thought I'd try it during lockdown, saw you released a set and just had to buy it! (The packaging is adorable!) The slow curing definitely helps a lot as a beginner. I do wash my hands under warm water and wait a good 15 mins or so for nails to completely set, yet as I go to file around the cuticle it kind of flicks off? I think I've done decent application around the cuticle but then file it off? But I don't use primer as I'm practicing on myself I don't want to last, so I can remove and do it again. I'm using 120/240 grit file. Any suggestions?

If you dont want it to stay or stick then by skipping primer and a smooth grit is good- you dont need to wait 15 mins 3mins or run under warm water for one min yr good to go- its just the dispersion layer- if you are doing your cuticle layer just right by the time you file alittle off it could be you need alittle to compensate for that sticky layer👍🏼

I have a strange question. When you were demonstrating how many beads you can get from each monomer, the color of the acrylic was so pretty. What was the name and brand of the acrylic? Thanks in advance. I’m thinking of buying your monomer as I’m still learning too and it would really help me out a lot.

I didn't realize until today your monomer was odorless. I got it in the mail 2 days ago and though it's nice, it takes forever to cure which for some may be nice. But it's a pain in my case. I guess I'll try your fast set soon.
