Qur'an 5:68, Key part of this verse that people tend to skip is where it says AND WHAT HAS BEEN REVEALED TO YOU FROM YOUR LORD. Which would entail the Quran. So the jews and Christian’s have nothing unless they abide by the Quran and previous 2. Qur'an 5:47, it does not negate the claim that these books have been falsified, and they do not contradict the verses which state that these books have been falsified, for many reasons: 1- The fact that the Tawrat and the Injeel have been falsified does not mean that each and every word in them was falsified. For instance the ruling of stoning to death which was revealed in chapter five [Al-Maaidah], existed in the Torah at the time of the Prophet . 〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰 Al-Bara' b. 'Azib reported: There happened to pass by Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) a Jew blackened and lashed. Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) called them (the Jews) and said: Is this the punishment that you find in your Book (Torah) as a prescribed punishment for adultery? They said: Yes. He (the Holy Prophet) called one of the scholars amongst them and said: I ask you in the name of Allah Who sent down the Torah on Moses if that is the prescribed punishment for adultery that you find in your Book. He said: No. Had you not asked me in the name of Allah, I would not have given you this information. We find stoning to death (as punishment prescribed in the Torah). But this (crime) became quite common amongst our aristocratic class. So when we caught hold of any rich person (indulging in this offence) we spared him, but when we caught hold of a helpless person we imposed the prescribed punishment upon him. We then said: Let us argree (on a punishment) which we can inflict both upon the rich and the poor. So We decided to blacken the face with coal and flog as a substitute punishment for stoning. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: O Allah, I am the first to revive Thy command when they had made it dead. He then commanded and he (the offender) was stoned to death. Allah, the Majestic and Glorious, sent down (this verse):" O Messenger, (the behaviour of) those who vie with one another in denying the truth should not grieve you..." up to" is vouchsafed unto you, accept it" (v. 41) 2176 It was said (by the Jews): Go to Muhammad; if he commands you to blacken the face and award flogging (as punishment for adultery), then accept it, but it he gives verdict for stoning, then avoid it. IT WAS THEN THAT ALLAH REVEALED THE VERSES " And they who do not judge in accordance with what Allah has revealed are, indeed, deniers of the truth" (5:44) ;" And they who do not judge in accordance with what Allah has revealed-they, they indeed are the wrongdoers" (5:45) ;" And they who do not judge in accordance with what God has revealed-they are the iniquitous (5:47). ALL THESE VERSES ARE CONNECTED *Refernce - Sahih Muslim 1700* Therefore, Allah ordered them to judge according to the rulings which existed in their Book and which were not falsified and which were confirmed by the legislation of the Prophet. And whoever does not rule by what Allah has revealed from the Qur'an, and abandons the saying of the Messenger ﷺ then he is a disbeliever. Ibn Abbas and Mujahid said that this verse is general and applies to everyone. Ibn Mas'ud and Al Hassan said: "It is general to all those who don't rule by what Allah has revealed from amongst the Muslims, Jews and disbelievers." The verses from the Qur'an, which command the Jews and Christians to judge by the Torah and Gospel respectively actually means that they must judge by the Qur'an since this is the only way to really judge by the Torah and Gospel sent to Moses and Jesus peace be upon them both respectively. For those original revelations taught the coming of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Therefore, to judge by them means that you must accept the Prophethood of Muhammad (peace be upon him), which in turn means that you must then accept the Qur'an as the word of God and judge by it. The Quran is THE ONLY revelation sent for mankind. Injeel in the Quran is described as a revelation sent to Jesus which he spread to his followers. In Christianity you believe that Jesus is the “injeel/gospel” and that he didn’t receive revelation because he is god. The Torah we believe in is what was sent to Moses, the Quran corrects the “Torah” on multiple occasions, and the five books you have can’t be traced back to Moses. Torah and injeel are both guides for the children of Israel. The only revelation sent to mankind was the Quran and the only prophet sent for mankind was the prophet ﷺ. We say that the Jews made a new book which is what you have and claimed it’s from god which it isn’t. DogLogic's 2nd claim: "Sahih Muslim 195e, Jesus is Word of Allah and His Spirit": He means by "word" the message that Allah commanded His angels to bring to Mary as a glad tiding from Him, as mentioned in His saying: "when the angels said, 'O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him'" (Aal Imran: 45), meaning a message and glad tidings from Him. "and a spirit from Him," it means he was a human being brought to life by Allah saying "Be." They said: Its meaning is "and a spirit from Him" or "and life from Him," indicating that Allah brought him to life by His creation. Others said: It means a spirit created by Allah, formed, then sent to Mary, and it entered her mouth, and Allah made it the spirit of Jesus, peace be upon him. This also refers to Qur'an 17:85 too. Spirit from Him means that He was {His Word which He directed to Mary} meaning a word that Allah spoke, and by it Jesus came into existence. He was not the word itself but was brought into being by it, an expression of honor and distinction. Similarly, {a spirit from Him} means one of the spirits created by Allah, endowed with virtuous attributes and complete morals. This is what as-Sa'adi said.

He (the Holy Prophet) said: He (Ibrahim) would say: I am not in a position to do that. Verily I had been the Friend (of Allah) from beyond, beyond; you better approach Moses (peace be upon him) with whom Allah conversed. They would come to Moses (peace be upon him), but he would say: I am not in a position to do that; you better go to Jesus, the Word of Allah and His Spirit. Jesus (peace be upon him) would say: I am not in a position to do that. So they would come to Muhammad (ﷺ). He would then be permitted (to open the door of Paradise). Etc etc... 😊💪🏼👌🏽👍🏽

kalemahu allah, that's moses, the sentence means god spoke to him, what he is referreing to is that jesus is the word(kalimtu allah) which has two meaning in the context: 1- the promise of allah 2- the word of allah which is (be) as it's mentioned somewhere else in the quraan that the example of jesus is as adam he said to him be and it became secondly, the verse he qouted from the quraan is indeed saying the quraan came confirming the previous scripture and a measurement overthem, the word use here is مهيمناً which means more powerful or more reliable the other verse which says let the people of the torah and injil rule with their books but that's missqouted cause if u actually continue reading it says and let them judge by what allah has revieled to you (mohammed) this is for whoever is seeking the truth about this matter, not looking for a debate please don't reply to my comment, if u don't like what is in it just ignore it :D

He doesn't need to be. It's ok if he wants to be but this isn't what Christ will ask us on Judgment day..... "were you orthodox?" We believe is Salvation through Christ, saved to follow Him and show evidence by our Fruits. That God the Father sent him and we have the Holy Spirit in dwelling in us. I think that's the core of our Faith and our Hope.

Why is it important for him to be Catholic? He is a Christian. We let traditions get in the way of Christianity sometimes. Isn't Catholicism not also a split from the orthodox/coptic church also? I mean any branch can claim to be "right", but is this the question Christ will ask us on judgment day? Is this what will determine who gets admitted into heaven or not? Judge by the fruits. If his fruits are showing you that he is a Christian, then let that be the end of it. Praise God and leave it alone

The concept of Darwinian FINCHES by Charles Darwin have still not been RECORDED LIVE by any scientist. In other words, the theory of evolution of the beaks of Darwinian finches was BLINDLY ACCEPTED as a HYPOTHESIS which is yet to be proven. Moreover, the fact that one species of a PARTICULAR GENUS can TRANSFORM itself into COMPLELETLY DIFFERENT SPECIES OF THE SAME GENUS, IS STILL NOT PROVEN IN OTHER WORDS RECORDED LIVE. Had it not been for these Christian speakers , there’d be many more westerners converting to Islam due to the lies they spread and there’s no one to counter their arguments. This happened in the 80’s with Ahmad Deedat . Now Christians know the Quran and Hadith . On the flip side of the coin , there’s many Muslims that have left Islam after seeing the errors in the Quran and false scientific claims etc .

DogLogic smartest guy ever dang: His first claim "Qur'an confirms the bible" 1. Qur'an 5:68, Key part of this verse that people tend to skip is where it says AND WHAT HAS BEEN REVEALED TO YOU FROM YOUR LORD. Which would entail the Quran. So the jews and Christian’s have nothing unless they abide by the Quran and previous 2. Qur'an 5:47, it does not negate the claim that these books have been falsified, and they do not contradict the verses which state that these books have been falsified, for many reasons: 1- The fact that the Tawrat and the Injeel have been falsified does not mean that each and every word in them was falsified. For instance the ruling of stoning to death which was revealed in chapter five [Al-Maaidah], existed in the Torah at the time of the Prophet . 〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰 Al-Bara' b. 'Azib reported: There happened to pass by Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) a Jew blackened and lashed. Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) called them (the Jews) and said: Is this the punishment that you find in your Book (Torah) as a prescribed punishment for adultery? They said: Yes. He (the Holy Prophet) called one of the scholars amongst them and said: I ask you in the name of Allah Who sent down the Torah on Moses if that is the prescribed punishment for adultery that you find in your Book. He said: No. Had you not asked me in the name of Allah, I would not have given you this information. We find stoning to death (as punishment prescribed in the Torah). But this (crime) became quite common amongst our aristocratic class. So when we caught hold of any rich person (indulging in this offence) we spared him, but when we caught hold of a helpless person we imposed the prescribed punishment upon him. We then said: Let us argree (on a punishment) which we can inflict both upon the rich and the poor. So We decided to blacken the face with coal and flog as a substitute punishment for stoning. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: O Allah, I am the first to revive Thy command when they had made it dead. He then commanded and he (the offender) was stoned to death. Allah, the Majestic and Glorious, sent down (this verse):" O Messenger, (the behaviour of) those who vie with one another in denying the truth should not grieve you..." up to" is vouchsafed unto you, accept it" (v. 41) 2176 It was said (by the Jews): Go to Muhammad; if he commands you to blacken the face and award flogging (as punishment for adultery), then accept it, but it he gives verdict for stoning, then avoid it. IT WAS THEN THAT ALLAH REVEALED THE VERSES " And they who do not judge in accordance with what Allah has revealed are, indeed, deniers of the truth" (5:44) ;" And they who do not judge in accordance with what Allah has revealed-they, they indeed are the wrongdoers" (5:45) ;" And they who do not judge in accordance with what God has revealed-they are the iniquitous (5:47). ALL THESE VERSES ARE CONNECTED *Refernce - Sahih Muslim 1700* Therefore, Allah ordered them to judge according to the rulings which existed in their Book and which were not falsified and which were confirmed by the legislation of the Prophet. And whoever does not rule by what Allah has revealed from the Qur'an, and abandons the saying of the Messenger ﷺ then he is a disbeliever. Ibn Abbas and Mujahid said that this verse is general and applies to everyone. Ibn Mas'ud and Al Hassan said: "It is general to all those who don't rule by what Allah has revealed from amongst the Muslims, Jews and disbelievers." The verses from the Qur'an, which command the Jews and Christians to judge by the Torah and Gospel respectively actually means that they must judge by the Qur'an since this is the only way to really judge by the Torah and Gospel sent to Moses and Jesus peace be upon them both respectively. For those original revelations taught the coming of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Therefore, to judge by them means that you must accept the Prophethood of Muhammad (peace be upon him), which in turn means that you must then accept the Qur'an as the word of God and judge by it. The Quran is THE ONLY revelation sent for mankind. Injeel in the Quran is described as a revelation sent to Jesus which he spread to his followers. In Christianity you believe that Jesus is the “injeel/gospel” and that he didn’t receive revelation because he is god. The Torah we believe in is what was sent to Moses, the Quran corrects the “Torah” on multiple occasions, and the five books you have can’t be traced back to Moses. Torah and injeel are both guides for the children of Israel. The only revelation sent to mankind was the Quran and the only prophet sent for mankind was the prophet ﷺ. We say that the Jews made a new book which is what you have and claimed it’s from god which it isn’t. DogLogic's 2nd claim: "Sahih Muslim 195e, Jesus is Word of Allah and His Spirit": He means by "word" the message that Allah commanded His angels to bring to Mary as a glad tiding from Him, as mentioned in His saying: "when the angels said, 'O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him'" (Aal Imran: 45), meaning a message and glad tidings from Him. "and a spirit from Him," it means he was a human being brought to life by Allah saying "Be." They said: Its meaning is "and a spirit from Him" or "and life from Him," indicating that Allah brought him to life by His creation. Others said: It means a spirit created by Allah, formed, then sent to Mary, and it entered her mouth, and Allah made it the spirit of Jesus, peace be upon him. This also refers to Qur'an 17:85 too. Spirit from Him means that He was {His Word which He directed to Mary} meaning a word that Allah spoke, and by it Jesus came into existence. He was not the word itself but was brought into being by it, an expression of honor and distinction. Similarly, {a spirit from Him} means one of the spirits created by Allah, endowed with virtuous attributes and complete morals. This is what as-Sa'adi said.

They would come to Moses (peace be upon him), but he would say: I am not in a position to do that; you better go to Jesus, the Word of Allah and His Spirit. He doesn't need to be. It's ok if he wants to be but this isn't what Christ will ask us on Judgment day..... "were you orthodox?" We believe is Salvation through Christ, saved to follow Him and show evidence by our Fruits. That God the Father sent him and we have the Holy Spirit in dwelling in us. I think that's the core of our Faith and our Hope.

Why is it important for him to be Catholic? He is a Christian. We let traditions get in the way of Christianity sometimes. Isn't Catholicism not also a split from the orthodox/coptic church also? I mean any branch can claim to be "right", but is this the question Christ will ask us on judgment day? Is this what will determine who gets admitted into heaven or not? Judge by the fruits. If his fruits are showing you that he is a Christian, then let that be the end of it. Praise God and leave it alone

The concept of Darwinian FINCHES by Charles Darwin have still not been RECORDED LIVE by any scientist. In other words, the theory of evolution of the beaks of Darwinian finches was BLINDLY ACCEPTED as a HYPOTHESIS which is yet to be proven. Moreover, the fact that one species of a PARTICULAR GENUS can TRANSFORM itself into COMPLELETLY DIFFERENT SPECIES OF THE SAME GENUS, IS STILL NOT PROVEN IN OTHER WORDS RECORDED LIVE. Had it not been for these Christian speakers , there’d be many more westerners converting to Islam due to the lies they spread and there’s no one to counter their arguments. This happened in the 80’s with Ahmad Deedat . Now Christians know the Quran and Hadith . On the flip side of the coin , there’s many Muslims that have left Islam after seeing the errors in the Quran and false scientific claims etc .
