Coogan was my neighbour at this time. Thanks for promoting this. I didn't think it would pass the new puritanism standards so I'm thankful it did. Steve was never disrespectful or hateful. He was always very funny and he is truly an English treasure.
Saw him live at Southport Theatre. My friend and I cried with laughter all the way through especially at Alan doing a Kate Bush Medley. Simon Pegg was the interlude act throughout the show.

I can’t remember much about him as it was before he was famous. He did a sketch between each of Coogans characters and each one was a different person but ended with the same punchline. We weren’t blown away 😟

Pauline Calf was one of the only 'drag acts' I've ever seen that doesn't rely on degeneracy and actually has irony and witty jokes. Just brilliant, and beguiling and somehow sexy.

Pauline Calf is a fantastic character. It doesn't even seem accurate to call that character drag, given today's drag queens. Pauline is a thought out character that dresses "normal".
