Mam my baby is premature 4 months old.. she is startle in sleep on any sound sometimes wakes up also, if crying she stop when i call her,also stop on rattle sound but she does not look at us when we call her... she changes her expression when some sound come.. We done her first BERA test it showing severe hearing loss.. What to do next?

Mam Agar OAE and DpOAE refer ho toh kya BERa test bhi fail ata h ya nhi.

I'm done with audiometry test which shows that 90% disability, but it's much more mine is just 15% Now they schedule me for BERA test What movement should i do in BERA test so that my percentage will be above 40% after that I'll be eligible for Certificate Please reply it's important

you must go for it... bera is objective test... child can't response whether he/she hear any sound Or not... and every new born must go for it

How many times BERA has been done?

Mam Namaskar 🙏 My sister A baby girl 2month ka hua he.. mam one side hear 👂 hole fully blocked condition & Another side hear 👂 hole Are available but mam ( oae ) test report are available. Report Asking Not hearing baby 😞 mam please mam give a solution....🙏....

Hi mam, my son is 10months old, when he was 2 months due to jaundice he was asked to undergo BERA at that time it was not normal like 85 and 95% loss in both ears and doctor suggested to repeat the test when done at 5months BERA was normal. But now the problem is he is not responding when we call him by name or any other. But he responds to sounds. Please suggest

Hi Ma'am Our 2 months old baby failed in BERA test one time. Doctor is confirming it is hearloss and asking us go for surgery and implant immediately. But our baby responds to sounds sometimes. Baby is not premature, born with normal weight (2.63 kgs), cried immediately after birth. Our parents or grandparents has no hearing problems in our family. Shall we wait for few months and do the test again or go for implant? Kindly suggest.

Bere test report is normal but still baby doesn't respond many times. Multiple tests we have done bur not getting accurate finding and solution.... Can u guide

Mam I am from Pakistan, Mera Beta 3 years ka hy, usay sunta hy mgr wo twajjo nhi krta aur response nhi daita, bolta hy mgr apni marzi sy mgr 1 year k bachay jesi awazain nikalta hy, sahi word nhi bolta To hamen uske liye kya krna chahiye?????

Respected ma'am My kid is approx 10 years old Bera test result revealed severe to profound hear loss Cochlear implant was got done about 5years back Kindly suggest me some test so that I can come to know whether the child is listening the voice or not , there is some improvement in hearing or not as a result of CI The child understands lip movements But doesn't speak

CI will not improve his hearing loss but it will help the child to listen the sounds clearly. Why didnt you do speech therapy after CI?
