I'm done with audiometry test which shows that 90% disability, but it's much more mine is just 15% Now they schedule me for BERA test What movement should i do in BERA test so that my percentage will be above 40% after that I'll be eligible for Certificate Please reply it's important

I have 1.5 year baby and he has hearing issues. I visited ENT specialist and he asked me to do ASSR. I want to ask ASSR is more accurate than BERA test? Secondly if ENT says to wear hearing aid then how much chances hearing aid will be removed as baby grows? If it depends on HL percentage and on what percentage hearing aid can be removed in future? Kindly guide me about it

If child has severe to profound hearing impairment, theres no chance you can remove hearing aid or cochlear implant.
Hi Madam, can kids with modarately severe HL learn language easily?

My son is 6 year old now..till now he is perfectly okay ..he is good in study .but recently we noticed that he is losing his hearing this even he knows that he can't hear what we speak little far from him.. sometimes if we speak near to him .he can't hear..only if we speak face to face to can hear. I am from West Bengal..My baby is 3 years old ..till now he is unable speak and walk..we have done BERA in manipal recently and it was found that he has 40 percentage hearing loss damage..doctor suggested for machine..but we are eager to know that will he be normal enough to speak and walk as other child?what should we do... please let us know maam

Why walking is delayed? Can he sit or stand? Does he recognize body parts, colours, animals?
Respected mam. My baby 2 years old . She is not reacting to sound . Ent doctor wrote bera test. But she is not cooperating to test.my doubt is below 3 years if she get proper treatment she vl listen and talk.

Hello mam ..meri beti 11yrs ki hai use right ear mai severe to profound hearing loss detect hua hai bera mai... Per class acchi hai.. Per dur ki awaj nahi sunai deti hai.. Hearing aids ki jarut hai ki nahi.. Future mai koi problem ho shatata hai kya

Ma'am , My daughter got foot and mouth infection where she got rashes on her hands and legs in October 22 , After that she started hearing problem her right ear was completely blocked and went to pediatrician and they have given syrup and it was clear for some time and then again she has got the same problem .so we went to ENT and they cleaned her ears wax and and given syrup and she was alright. Whenever she gets cold she has the hearing problem . Now her left ear also has the same issue and ENT said it will go off . Please advise

Mam....mera one day ka tab oxygen pra rha tha... hearing test kraya 12 day ka baby ka to loss bta ya tha....pr ab mujhe 3month pr uka ORA, Bara test kra na hai....ab baby ki report positive aa sakti hai kya

Mam my son is 8years he detected him moderate to severe HL before 2months n as per doc advise we fixed hearing aids in both the ears..we have taken all the tests ct everything..no issues in brain..now he is hearing with the help of hearing aids..but will the condition moderate to severe hearing may lead to profound or he will be okay with these hearing aids when he grow? Really worried about him pls clarify me..n how to take care of his lifestyle I donno..pls help me

Mam if you can do then 5to 6 drops of ghee of indian or desi cow in nose both time of day morning and night when he goes to sleep after some time hearing loss will recovered ghee can taken from any village area

mam mera bacha 8 saal ka ho gaya wah wah saaf nhi bolta h.. uska bera test karwaya tha usme usme bataya ki wah bahut tej aawaj sunta h.. Dr ne bola aap late ho gaye 4 saal ki umra tak iska opration ho jata rajsthan sarkar ki taraf se.. ab to kuch nhi ho sakta..

Mam jab woh 3./5year ka tha tab hearing aid laga diya th a usko speech therapy bi di 2& 3 months ke bad covid ane se therapy band ho gyi ab 5 months se speech therapy chali hai abi tak usne bolna start nahi kiya even words bi nahi bolta .par waise sab samaj jata hai.sound toh kafi nikalta hai jaise( aaaaa) waise kafi loud hai per words nikalne ki koshish nahi karta.mam ek query hai hearing aid waleo bache ko thropy kishe karwani chaiye.

Mam could you please make a videos on those newborn how has 1 ear hearing loss what should one do. My newborn boy has fail 1 left ear hearing test, will this means he cannot speak or listen he is deaf ? My I am so depressed please help..

@@asktoanamika he is just 3 days in hospital doctor perform a normal hearing check placing machine the pediatrician noted that the right ear of the baby has passed the test but the left ear doing multiple time the test was failed . Doctor advised us to wait for 4 weeks and consultant an ent and later see what outcome comes...

Yes, its too early to conclude anything. Donot panic.. go for recheck and perform BERA. Till that time, talk to the child at the fullest. Watchout my video on neonatal hearing check

@@asktoanamika mam just couple of weeks ago I ask you for my son deafness. Today my doctor confirmed he is know 3months old and has severe deaf in left year. He is good at right ear what are my option. Will he be a autism child later or may have neurological problem later in life as doctor told me.
