These 3 beats are all beats I performed in my last drum cover! So many asked about a break down video. These beats are totally worthy of their own lesson video so I made it a complete lesson. These beats push the limit of technical skill, groove, time, chops, and orchestration. I'm sure if you learn these drum beats they will expand your drumming vocabulary and sharpen your skills!

Eric these are some damn tasty licks, such a clean approach to these linear style grooves. Shit slaps when you play them back to back, so good 🙏🙏

I’ve spent the last week working on the first two grooves, and look forward to the third. This was an amazing lesson, and it inspired me to create two new grooves. Thanks for gifting us with this knowledge!

That's a help with separation much fun. On a personal note;the 70s called and want the stache back. Lol.
very nice explanation, thank you very much.👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you! I taught myself three. Going to take a lot of practice to get to 120 bpm though!
0:37 - 0:51 is friggin' cool!
The drumming part is impressive, but being able to say LRK in the order of the groove is impressive. I know there is outtakes. Cool video dude.
All very cool beats, but that last one is a mind blower. One of the coolest and most complicated beats I have come across. That's an incredibly creative accomplishment to come up with that. It took me many hours to master. I can copy these beats, but creating them out of thin error is the hardest part. Very impressive sir! and thanks for sharing!

All the grooves are great man! I especially like the first groove sounds like a Linear version of "Cold Sweat" by James Brown.
Number three is a monster you have to chunk it off like a half a measure at a time I couldn't nail it in a half an hour
Dooooooope!!!!!!
Aww Come on, this video was like hearing you breakdown some historical jewels from Bonham. I’m 55 so I grew up listening to the Zep. But this is your original stuff. Sooooo glad you did this. Like always, clear and precise teaching.

Eric Fisher as aLways ✊👍
man that hi hat sounds mint!
Very cool grooves and an entertaining funny but quality presentation! If I get nr.3 to 80 bpm it will be success for me.
That is one killer beat , if I could only play that😢but I got to try ! See ya in about a year or three😅
The only drummer alive with a moustache ,nice lesson :)

You are playing ghost notes with the side of the stick on the hi-hats, I play my ghost notes with the tip. It's a reminder that I can play ghost in any position, but it just don't feel natural to me to play a ghost note that way because of the characteristics of the sound.
Fucking hell these are amazing. Instantly subscribed
Great VIDEO!!! LICKS!!!
I love that combination of beats! What are the sizes and model of your hi-hats?

your floor tom sounds like a bass guitar lmaoo, great stuff mate
I don't know exactly the sub-signature but that first one sounds like poly rhythm.
Hello, I loved the grooves, however, I didn't understand what the letter U means in the score. Congratulations for the video and hugs from Brazil
Very interesting how he plays “show must go on” …
This is NOT CLICKBAIT...These are indeed VERY IMPRESSIVE beats! I'm super curious how you construct these...🥁🎵🎵🤔

So I came up with these 3 exact beats for the last drum cover I did. They are actually all played in that cover “little drummer boy” the Christmas cover. I listened to the music and tried to come up with parts that would fit the music but also be very spiced up with lots of elements. Thank you for asking!
Playing the measures over and over again at slower speeds makes it click! On screen notations spell it out. New subscriber. 🙂
What tom heads are you using? Kit sounds amazing!
