What extension do you use for your screw guns for the roof work?

The bit extension?? A 12" quick release that I picked up from Lowe's.

How did you seal up the roof from leaking at the transition as I never see you installing any flashing?

Always install flashing at transitions of different pitches. We use butyl tape where screws penetrate top side of flashing/panels and closures on bottom side of flashing with a bead of caulk made for metal roofs. Do NOT use silicone!

Looks like you made the addition free standing. Is there any reason not to attach to the existing building wall? Im considering an addition to my red iron building but thinking about attaching to the existing beam. Any thoughts?

The existing build is a wood frame. Lots of trouble to attach so I made the addition free standing.

Narf,how do you deal with the rain,keeping it out of the insulation while installing, it rains every 3-4 days where I'm too..

When you start insulation. The wind starts blowing and the rain comes. The insulation can handle some moisture and will dry as long as you don't lay it in a mud hole

Hi.when doin the wall insulation,do you stick the vapor barrier as you go or do you go back and do it afterwards

Install insulation as you install panels. The double sided tape is how we temporarily stick insulation then the panels hold it in place as you screw them on.

@@BuildingwithNARF ok..my insulation has a sticky tab on one side,,so do it as you go

That is to keep your insulation continuous.. stick it to next piece as u go also.
