Thanks for sharing this delightful bird. I miss my sweet Quaker who was as talky as this little guys. Mine had a liver disease (genetic) and he died too young, but he was the light of my life when he was with me.

My parrot is jealous, whenever I kiss the screen on my phone my parrot runs over to my screen and screams and gives me kisses and attacks the phone.

Have you tried kissing your Fur Baby parrot & having increase interactions of your parrot. My parrot loves the above Video & is becoming more vocal with less aggression. I’ve played many videos, on our TV & Babee loves the close interaction ones, much better then those in or on their cages, without that close human contact. Quaker Parrots truly are close social birds!!! 😎😀😍

This little guy reminds me of my Quaker, Bailey. Bailey was quite the clown, loved to play peek-a-boo alot and said good night. He had quite the vocabulary. He ate the same things I ate, except no coffee!!. Loved fried chicken. Sadly, he passed away a few years ago. I sure do miss the little guy!!!!

Mine loved chicken breast also. My brother would say your eating your own kind dummy. I caught mine sipping from my soda can saying " Dat good dat good" Had to keep it away from him. He lived to 23.

I miss my quaker so sososososo much but I will get one again when I have the proper living arrangement and can spend the time they deserve....Your lil guy is so good with speech though, I can listen all day. Thanks for sharing and brightening my day.

My Buddy Quacker says "I'm an Eagle!" He just turned a year old. He laughs when Jose says "Go Poop!".

This is my Quakers favorite video. I put on using my cell phone when he's being a pest, stops him every time. He pecks at the screen and talks back. Love it, thanks for this vid! It's like having the perpetual three year old, they're into everything, learning to talk and they NEVER stop!

I just lost my Quaker parrot last month, and it made me laugh to see that Jose laughs very similar to how my quaker did. He's a beautiful and very clever bird!

A great talker. My Quaker is 4 years old and a delight. First female parrot I've every had. (first was Quaker male, Sun conure male, Blue Fronted Amazon Male, and Quaker Toni (Antoinette). I was stunned when I yelled at her for throwing things on the floor. She responded with: "Tell what the problem is?" I was in shock.

Buddy is cute as can be. You will have many years of love and laughter with him. Coffee soda,s tea etc,, are very bad for any bird. However a couple of drops every once in a while shouldn't hurt and is a nice little treat.My quaker loved yogurt:-) He was my buddy I had hin for 12 years before he went to heaven. It helps to just come out and ask the vet, they appreicate you wanting to learn so your pet can have a long healthy fun life with you. Please make more video,s, Buddy makes my heart smile and brings back awsome memorries. Thank you. God bless you both!

I have a young Quaker Parrot who has not been talking much. She watches this every day (sometimes more than once) and has started saying "Good baby" and "uh oh" hehe! Awww...I love this video! I have this same parrot but didn't know how smart they can be until I watched this video. I love my parrot but seeing this made me love him even more! I try to give mine attention, but he won't come to me unless he does off his cage for some reason

I own a Quaker parrot just like this one , and mine talks alot also , it's about spending alot of time with them always talking to them, they do pick up words very quickly once they start talking , takes a year for them to start talking but once they do Soo many words come out, you do have to talk alot to them in that first year of owning them , and when you get them from little chicks and hand raise them yourself they'll bond with you sooo much, and they'll have so much love and loyalty to the one who spends the most time with them, mine is so loyal to me but just me , no one else can really get near him .. lol .. they are truly adorable birds, I love mine so much 💕🐦

I've been in the avian field for nearly 30yrs now. And have owned MANY species of parrots over the years. I currently have Keiko my IRN or Indian Ringneck & Kiwi my GCC or Green-Cheek Conure. Most of what Kiwi my GCC has learned in terms of speaking comes from Keiko my IRN. Quakers are adorable, and speak quite well. However, pound for pound IRN's are THE BEST speaking birds of there size. They speak with clarity that is simply amazing rivaling both Amazons & even African Greys.

He's so adorable. Only 11 months old? Really great extensive vocabulary. So cute!

What a smart boy! I wish I couild borrow your little guy for a day. I miss Bertie, and have never had another bird. I actually had a Quaker ("Bertie") that I found down in Tampa in 1992 and had stolen in 1996 or 1997 in Eugene, Oregon. He had no chest feathers when I found him, and never did. But he did know a few words already, and later developed a HUGE, extraordinary vocabulary. Not only could he imitate many many sounds like water running, coffee being stirred, doorbell ringing, food frying, microwave dinging, coughing, sneezing, laughing, dog barking, meow, rooster crowing, oinking, mooing...he could say "ouch, stop it, dammitt! That HURTS" and "spank! (the dog), "I love you", also : come here!, Good boy! Want drink? good boy! Thank you! Up. up. UP! (demanding to be picked up). "pretty boy", "Don't BITE!" Gimmee kiss", uh-oh, and many other phrases, including made-up words I accidently taught him, like "perswako", which meant, "I'm about to clean your c age and give you food and water, so behave!". One time out of the blue he asked, "Whaddya doin?" and it was something I had not taught him, but it fit the situation. The background there looks ;like Florida; I wonder if yours is form the same lineage, being a prodigy, too? It's possible!

I love this video, Buddy is such a beautiful boy, but please, DO NOT give him coffee. Caffeine can kill him.

@@coreenhansen1079 it’s like alcohol. Some things you just shouldn’t give birds or animals in general. Just like you shouldn’t give babies alcohol or coffee because it can hurt them. Birds bodies are so tiny the amount to kill it is also extremely small.

I used to have a Quaker who would solve wheel of fortune puzzles with my grandma. He also told stories about the "bitches stole my car", I'm guessing something with the previous owner lol If you were eating and he wanted some of it he would say "are you hungry?"

Pretty, I have never seen a Quaker with green feet before. Mine liked to eat ice cream from my spoon.

To cute I have a blue quaker and every time I played this video and shed hear it she would start sqwarking back at the phone lol now she says IM AN EAGLE AND UP ALL THE TIME LMBO along with other words she's picked up m trying to teach her to say I LOVE YOU .José is a inspiration keep up the good work and please post more videos of him .

yes that is true ...coffee will kill that bird but I'm more concerned about the bird getting addicted to caffeine and hanging out at a Starbucks somewhere and forgetting to spend time with him. LOL

i have an olive lorrikeet he reminds me of yr bird and laughs the same he is listening to this as i watch and laughing he also likes my coffee in the mornings too but someone told me its bad for them so i let him on my cup and he sort of sips around like yr bird then when iv finished he gets in the cup saying hello baby constantly ..love this video love birds.
