3 Ingredient ♥ Green Tea (Matcha) Ice Cream Recipe

Subscribe for more of Angel's videos: bit.ly/1HbtZaI ♥ Matcha is one of my favorite ice cream flavors. I'll pick matcha (aka green tea ice cream) over plain vanilla or chocolate any day of the week. Made with real matcha powder and organic cane sugar, this ice cream recipe is just the right amount of bittersweet goodness.

And also, not sure whether Daiso in US sells matcha powder or not, but their matcha powder here in Sydney is GORGEOUS. It is in a black bag and has a very bright green color with a strong green tea flavor, which is perfect for any matcha dessert. Hope you could give it a try if you could find it at your city and it will definitely give you a much better color. LOVE every recipe of yours though:)

It's easy to make any flavor you want. Also there are recipes that don't require an ice cream maker. They just require a hand mixer. There's a base recipe. Then you just add whatever you want to them. I love fruit flavors and you can make uncommon to your area like mango and calamansi. My favorite is rocky road. I just add chocolate, marshmallows, and nuts to the base recipe. Then freeze it in a container. Gemma Stafford and The Domestic Geek have recipes like that.

Angel, what type of ice cream maker do you use? The mixture looked like a liquid, and then, you poured it into the ice cream maker, and next moment, it became solid ice cream. I'm not sure how that just happened... and what type of ice cream maker I should get or what other tools I can use as a substitute?

I can usually make 2 servings of ice cream before I need to put the pan back in the freezer. Usually after 15 minutes, in the freezer (after I've taken it out to use it once), it's good to go for another batch. :D
