Your reading is BETTER than the Little House on the Prairie reader. Bless him, he can barely read, stumbles here and there. I'd rather listen to YOU! Again and again.... Oh please, reconsider! Competition is thoroughly American--and Canadian--and nearly global and results in a better product. 🙂

My beloved 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Bledsoe, read our class these books. They meant the world to me, because I had never been read to before, nor did I own any children's books. They opened my mind to another world and my imagination. I am excited to listen to this story again, and to remember Mrs.Bledsoe, who is long since passed, but never forgotten.

My mother read this book to me chapter by chapter at bedtime probably in 1968. I think I was nine when I received the entire set for my birthday. I devoured the Little House Books, reading them in my bed. Later as an adult, I read every bit of historical information on Laura that was printed including about anything about her married life or her daughter. I never thought to re-read these books until this audio book pooped up in my feed. I thought it must be too baby-ish to enjoy now in my 60's but I decided to listen to a little bit and now I am on chapter 5. I am loving this book again. Thank you so much for doing this audio book the voice is perfectly wonderful and sweet.

I was raised on a farm in the 60s and 70s. We raised and butchered our beef, pork and chickens. We could have gone to grocery store where we would not have a clue how these animals were fed or what they were fed. I still do the same as many other country families still do. For those of you who think this is cruel will be in big trouble when the grocery stores are empty as they almost were just a couple yrs ago!!! I urge you to learn how to do this as times are getting very dark. I was in Ukraine 13 yrs ago and every family was growing their own vegetables and their own meat.

When I was little my Mom bought me the whole set of the Little House series. I loved reading them. I read them over and over, finding something new each time. When my Daughter was around 5 years old, my Mom pulled them out of the book shelf and read them to her when she would spend the night with her granny. I was thinking of doing this, yet I don't have audio recording equipment. Being a former teacher of young children, I miss the joy of reading delightful books to them. I just read "A Long Winter" to my furry children. They seem to enjoy it. My mother alao read the series to us children in the 70''s and we quickly feel asleep so I missed ao much.😂 Quickly asleep, I missed all the educational details of life back then, each perfectly described process of daily survival. Laura Ingalls Wilder was not only a brave and intelligent woman, she was a pioneer , educator and historian. Thanks for your reading. It is well done. God Bless you.

It's amazing how well you read. Soothing and comforting are indeed the right words to describe it. May I suggest Bram Stoker's Dracula. There's a gentleman who reads a version who has the voice of the Count down to a T. I also enjoyed the version of Hound of the Baskervilles. 🙂

I remember seeing these books in the library when I was a kid and thinking they looked boring. Early this morning, I had trouble falling back to sleep, and YT recommended this video. I love your voice, and the story is so interesting. I think I would have been horrified (in a good way) and fascinated by how they had to survive. Too bad I didn't give these books a chance years ago. Oh, it did help me fall back to sleep 😊

🥰😊💝 I usually listen to guided meditations to help me reset my mind and nervous system after stressful days. They work. Somewhat. But, your beautiful, soothing voice filled me with a sense of trust and well-being as you read aloud one of my favorite childhood stories After listening to you read, Little House in the Big Woods, last night, I just wanted to spend the day listening to youi read all of the Little House books. This is the first time in a long while that I have felt safe, secure, and completely relaxed. ❤ This feeling of serenity is extremely rare for me. It feels good. Thank you for offering such a soothing, enriching respite through this lovely story.
