On British TV he is famous for TV series such as "I,Claudius"(obviously set in Roman times) and "Cadfael" where he plays a medieval monk who solves mysteries. He has a beautiful voice and is high in demand for reading books from literally children's classics such as "The Wind in the Willows" to the ghost stories of M.R.James.
