Hi both, we do love our van, it's not without its issues though and we are seriously contemplating the Bologna, purely on space and layout. We're still thinking though and cleaning out the Porto of all our 'stuff' to see what we need and what we don't for the next year ahead. Also it needs warranty work so needs to be empty for that(and that's also a driving factor for change). Thanks for watching and your input, really do appreciate all comments. Andy and Kim.

Hard work looking for the right van....but I wouldn't get a large van with blow air heating. it's usually cold at the back-end. Good luck in getting the right layout for you both.

Hi both, yeah first work struggles finding the right layout 😉. With regards to the cold back part of the van, we have Alde currently and the rear bedroom is always freezing cold with our doors closed and cold with them open. Problem being is the thermostat siting, the lounge. I’ve scoured the FB groups on this set of vans and it seems that just shutting off one vent in the lounge area sorts the cold rear end. Great to see you both and interesting to see your thoughts on the various layouts, don't know if we missed something but we were wondering why you're looking at them unless it's just out of curiosity or you fancy a different layout. We always like the look of the L shape, but as you pointed out, don't think it's quite us when watching the telly etc. The Sonos speaker is like my Bose one - you can connect anything to it via Bluetooth (maybe ext speaker cable as well) and it bangs out some great sound and is portable so you can sit outside with it or use it as a mono but beefy speaker for the telly. It'll be rechargeable.

It is the layout and bathroom position for us now. We love the van we have, one of these is, or would appear that little bit better. We’ve had the L shape before, and it worked for us I think. The speaker, if it’s like any other Bluetooth speaker, I’m sure will sound great, just don’t know what the extra buzz words seem to be. Thanks for watching and the lovely comment. Hi great to see you both. The van you've got is fantastic and only 3yrs old it does the same as any van. We got our van same time as you after 20years old the old van. Weve just got bk from holiday. Tewskbury in may. X

Interesting thoughts. Something we can see is the downgrade from the 2023 none gt75 that you get in the Pegasus Grande SE . Just our opinions. We love our Brindisi but wouldn't have the gt75 version. All manufacturers seem to done the same to cut costs. The blown air is cooler at the back but as you say, if you close off one of the front outlets, it makes a massive difference. Happy caravan hunting and hope your dad is on the mend.

Thanks both, I think he’s back home now! Yes, all mfrs are upping their prices with, what seems Bailey slightly under the competition, and yes, as ever with cost cutting quality can be an issue. We still love the TA Bologna for the layout and as it’s only us two and the Beagles, we think it’s absolutely fine. Thanks for watching and commenting. Andy and Kim.

We brought a new Bailey last year and the build quality is so bad we have ended up with a complaint to the financial ombudsman. I wish we had gone for another brand instead of Bailey who are churning terrible quality caravans out their factory.

Hi. We’ve experienced Baileys and if the build was that bad we’d not ever bother with them. Also heard so many scare stories about other brands too. We always get vans so if there are any issues we go straight back to the dealer. Of which, we’ve always kept a fantastic relationship, that’s all so important as they are who you deal with. Can I ask which mfr and dealer you are with now? Cheers. Andy.

@@tanksontour Still have the Bailey, waiting for a final response from the Ombudsman as Black horse are dragging their heals. I even got the rejection in before the first 30 days. We have a useless van in the drive and in limbo atm. White arches was the dealer, wouldn’t trust them either.

@@PoweredByBeer wow, funny (not in a laughable way) our dealer won’t deal with BH any more, probably for the same reason. Luckily we’ve never had to deal with that side. The dealer is where your real friend is and seems not in your favour. I’d say regardless for manufacturer if you don’t get the backup from the dealer in the first instance you may find (as you are) a big hill to climb. Not saying Bailey have helped here, maybe a well versed letter to their management? There are plenty of groups who could help where to direct such a letter. 100% Hope you get it sorted and whatever you choose, you get a great van in the future. Andy.
