That beer looks incredible! Also we have that exact same unwritten rule. We normally keep the distance to a circumference of an hour if we are only stopping 2/3 nights. The distance doesn’t matter if we’re stopping 4+ nights. Great to see you guys - nice chilled update there 💪

We I’ve the caravan for the longer stays but it’s not particularly good for short spontaneous getaways. Would love to convert a van one day and have the best of both. Thanks for watching and commenting. Andy and kim.

Never say never! We’d still like to convert our own van and have as another form of getaway. Sorry we may have led you down that path though. Hope you’re having a lovely time away, and you’re not the first we’ve heard that don’t like ‘the friendly club’. We’re going to see how it pans out, we are keen to use the CL / CS sites and maybe some rallies too so keeping an open mind on the CCC. Wow, that’s praise indeed (not the mugging off bit), thank you. We truly do want to convert a van for flexibility and quick getaways and keep the caravan for the more prolonged planned holidays. We are looking for a van to convert. I knew you’d love the thumbnail, a motorhomers delight that one! Van life goes wrong etc… 😛 one day we’ll be able to join you all for sure, just keep looking after Tess and Lilly 🐶 🐶 xx 🥰 cheers, Andy and Kim.

Had me in suspenders there! We have no complaints with the CCC and do love the CSes and general flexibility eg never had restrictions on orientation etc. Everyone just seems to want to leave the other club, from what I can see.

We don’t tend to use local sites either 😂 but the CLs can be good value like you say. We seem to get the best use from our CAMC membership. We did crack the code and use the 2 night for the price of one with the CCC but haven’t used them since! And the wardens were quite ‘strict’ shall we say. 😮 We tend to do more pub stops. Now THAT’s the dark side 😂 x

The Clubs are not all bad we are in CAMC & C&CC the big sites are expensive but the certified sites and rallies are worth being a member for and if you break the membership cost down it only just over £1 week 😊

That’s what we think, so we’re trying it out. We were in a Bailey moho group and some admin were questioning getting a refund during Covid lockdown, as you say, for £1 per week. 🤞 we’ve made a good decision. Thanks for the positive encouragement and for watching. Andy and kim.
