    Good vid but one quick question... For the first food item when you said "Sports Drinks" does that still mean BodyArmor™?? If you don't know what that is, then Google it. It contains vitamins, minerals, coconut water, potassium, and much more. Great video and please respond. ⚾

    MLB Mike body armour is extremely hydrating coconut water and vitamins prolly not the best for you but definitely better than gator/powerade

    Home Business Expert you're probably drinking G2 which does have less sugar and no high fructose corn syrup hut it contains aspartame which is a carcinogen. Just drink water.

    In response to the video Justin , on the first one I never was a Gatorade fan, it always tasted weird for me ( and it's been a New Years resolution to drink nothing but water , with the exception of calcium in lactose milk ) second the fast food , I typically eat ok not the best not the worst , it's spread out with simple carbs , protein is the main course , and vegetables with fruits are the meal,also with candy sorry Justin but Reese's cups are going nowhere , but I watch intake on the cups , lastly does bubble gum count as candy , I chew trident mint gum religiously

    Gatorade is not sweetened with high fructose corn syrup. Gatorade uses dextrose which is more natural and better for you . Also, G2 contains 1/2 the amount of sugar of regular Gatorade. I would agree with fast food, processed food, and even candy, but Gatorade wouldn't even be in the top 100 of "foods to avoid" . Not to mention the sodium and electrolytes Gatorade helps replace .

    Jaz Hooker Ice your arm for twenty minutes in the tricep area just above the elbow. I suggest investing in a full-arm icing sling. Any soreness on the back of the arm in the tricep area is completely​ normal

    I get that Gatorade isn't great for you. But all I drink during practice is water. But during a game I just can't stand water, I usually drink 2 medium Gatorades per game.

    Oatmeal with fruit and nuts: The Breakfast of Champions! Use steel cut or rolled oats (avoid instant--too processed), add a cup of chopped walnuts, a half cup of raisins, a banana, half an apple chopped up, and a cup of oat or almond milk. My game day fuel of choice!

    Good to see on youtube. Rarely do I see someone speak up against popular but poor nutrition choices for athletes, like the lowest cost drink Gatorade. In a high school football game at over 100 degrees, we had nine players go down with heat stroke, other players were hot but OK. Differential, those players just drinking a lot of water were OK, those who drank just Gatorade throughout the game all had to seek medical attention. Not good. much better Water Water Water.

    Gatorade and Powerade aren't bad for you it's only if you drink it excessively. The best thing to do is to mix it up drink Powerade and water at the same time not just straight of one. That's what I do and it helps me greatly. Sports drinks shouldn't be avoided completely because their still are benefits.

    I like mixing water and Gatorade or Powerade to make it a little less sweet. They definitely have benefits for hydration and they provide electrolytes, but they are loaded with sugar.

    Carbs are ok if you are going to burn them right away. And any foods are fine as long as your diet is rich with protein. Make sure you are getting your protein, no matter what it is you’re eating. And stay active.

    I think BodyArmor is a little healthier than others because it has coconut water if I can remember correctly. Just drink them in moderation. Good ol plain water is your best bet.
