3 Easels For Sending With Cards
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
I hope you enjoy this one, I think it is really cool to send easels with your cards for people to stand them up and enjoy for weeks to come!
My easels all start with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch piece of cardstock, the stronger the better.
Measurements for the attached easel:
On the 4 1/4 inch side, mark at 1 inch, score at 1 3/4 and 2 1/2, mark at 3 1/4 inch. Turn, mark at 1/4 in, top and bottom, then score at 2 1/5.

A thanks so much! Exactly what I needed.
What a great idea! I will try it!!
Thank you for these ideas. I need an easel for this year's card for my partner and number 3 seems like the perfect one for this. You make it seem so easy! I will certainly be making at least one of these this year. Thanks again. Best easel video I have found
OMG I love that. Thank you
So cool!
TFS. I love this.
Way cool! Thanks💟💟💟
So many good ideas thank you
You are the best
Wonderful Idea, wow
Great ideas....thank you
great idea, I liked the last two. I like the idea for the stand on the card for a scene or 3D card, and a shadow box card would look good with that easel.
Clever! Thank you.
thank you for your help with ideas.
Brilliant Thankyou
Definitely going to make these!!
Thank you Maymay!!! I have been watching your videos for a very long time and have had to make a you tube account so that I could leave a comment. I know you always say you are a girl that likes tools, if there's a tool for it you use it. Well, I purchased an easel cutting die - I haven't used any of the easels I cut out with it, I have found the card falls over!!!! I find myself rewatching this video and making my own easels so thank you for your way of making things easy to follow and always, always giving your viewer options.. Thank you
Thanks for sharing !
Thank you brilliant idea
fabulous i was actually gonna buy a easel die but after seeing this im gonna make my own there so quick and simple and ur instructions are so easy to follow thanx maymay
Awesome
Good idea
You are so clever
I am going to try the last one
Hello! I love this idea! Its perfect to encourage the recipients not to toss the card or stash it away in the junk/keepsake drawer. I would have traced the original one on a folded piece of card stock and cut it out as i don't trust my freehand skills lol Tfs!
Thank you for this tutorial! It was a lifesaver. I was making mini slim line cards and I mistakenly cut my designer 🧑🎨 paper vertically instead of horizontally. Thus, I needed to make them stand up. So I followed your instructions, maintaining your measurements, and trimmed the sides to fit the card base. I tried to share it on your page but was unable to do so. Thanks again. 🥰
These would be great foe holding price cards at craft shows.
These are great! You should design and make the templates out of plastic. If they were hard plastic you could use an xacto knife to cut them out.
Здорово!❤️
These are Absolutely Adorable, and, makes So Very much sense. an addition to the handmade gift that the card Is!!
Hi Maymay, I was looking for something to send with a top folding card as they do the splits sometimes when the receipient tries to stand them up. Thank you very much for posting this.
Nyoka is so clever. I love this. Thanks for showing us how to make not one but three different easels, Maymay.
Awesome! Can you make this in Design Space?
You are a wonderful teacher! I live your stamp club. Thank you for all that you do!
(watching in 2020) Thanks so much for sharing! I bought an easel die but I'm not sure if it will be strong enough. Thanks for the alternatives!
Thank you for sharing this with us. I think this is a wonderful idea. Have a blessed day. God bless you and your family.
Awesome! You wouldn’t believe how many videos I reviewed to learn how to make One! Now I have the perfect video saved! You AND Nyoka rock!
Thanks Maymay this is a great idea! Thanks Nyokia for inspiring Maymay!!

So cool, love your ideas for making easels.
I enjoyed the video. I have learned so much from you. Thank you so much!
I really like the third one. Thank you for sharing them with us.
This was a great tutorial, what a fantastic little added ride along for cards, the only thing I would have loved more, was you putting out a pattern for the first one, I love to craft, but cannot draw worth a darn....love your shows, would not miss one, even when I recently had the flu, have also purchased many of the products you recommend and love your store, my favorite thing about your shows are the love that is so evident between you and Vinnie

Sharon... use anything round to give yourself the top part.. then just draw down and straight out to the little lip and then straight up and around.... there you have it!!! Hope this helps....
Love it! Thank you Maymay! Thank you Nyoka!
I am so excited to make these! I love them...thanks so much for sharing and caring! Hugs
I saw this crafter after show and you read my mind. As soon as I saw that I was thinking wow what a great idea So thank you May May!
You saved me. I was actually gonna buy a stencil die for cards. It's on my wish list on amazon. You're the best.
Such a great idea!! Love the last one, attached to the card. thank you
Thank you Maymay! I made a Silhouette cut file using your instructions.
Love all three!
TY for the best tutorial for making card easels.
that is such a great thing to add with your card. Had a lady in my BSF group tell me that she got 2 hand made card for Christmas and mine and the other she keep out on display, if I added the easel it would of made it handy to display. Will make me some to keep in my area. Maymay just love watching you. You give such great instruction
Thanks Maymay. Love it.
You're awesome! Sometimes my cards just don't stand and I can't figure why. My cards would just start to slide slowly, slowly down onto the table. So thank you Mayday for this wonderful idea.
Love these!!!!! Thank you so much!!!!
Thank you Maymay ! I am just getting my craft room together after retiring and over the years I have bought just about most things. This idea 'I DO NOT' have. Love ur vids
I love this MayMay!
Thank You Maymay. Super Cool!!!
Thank you so much! The 3rd easel is exactly what I was looking for! I need a way to display a small shadowbox made out of cardstock, and this is PERFECT!
MayMay Thank you! I made the 1st one. It worked out nicely.
I may use old file folders which will be sturdy and a good way to recycle those.
Love It!!!!!!! I will be making good some of these really soon. Great job!
Love it, Maymay. Thank you Nyoka
Awesome tutorial, Maymay!!😍
Thank you so much for this video!! I have always wanted to know how to make an easel for my cards!! I almost bought a die. Thanks to you I saved a lot of money 😀 I really appreciate you
Fabulous tutorial. Can't wait to try these
Awesome idea, thank you for sharing.
Hi Maymay, just a little idea for the first easel. If you add another "foot" to the other end of the s-line, you'll end up with two slightly smaller easels. This way you'll get eight easels out of one piece of cardstock and close to no scrap paper. Thank you for the video, I will definitely add easels to my cards from now on =D.
Love it, this is a fabulous idea thanks for sharing!
Very nice idea! As cards always start to curl and fall after awhile! ❤️
Love these, thank you so much for sharing them with us. 😍
LOVE this idea, have to try it!
loved the attached easel
Thank you so much for sharing! I love this!
Those are so cute and functional! Thanks!!!
so excited to see this! thanks so much!
I LOVE the idea. I went on Cricut Design Space and designed one using the first sample you showed. Using circles, rectangles, half circles, slicing, welding and there it was. I can cut many of them out at the same time. I went a little further and designed the circle with a butterfly, gear, deer, tree, leaf and you could add anything as long as you use a negative space. Took me a little while to figure it out. But the idea is endless. THANK YOU for the idea. Now my cards can be displayed in a cute way.
What a great idea about the easels. At Christmas time I know some of my cards were sent overseas and would have been great little extra something-something. Thank-you!
What a great idea, thanks for sharing. Carol, New Mexico. :-)
Thanks, I have been looking at the Tim Holt die cuts, but this is great. I'm going to do the 3rd one In black and some in white just to have ready. Thank you.
It reminded me as the letter 'R' with one of the legs not cut ... also if you could use other dies/shaped punches to customize for the seasons - hearts, flowers, butterflies, paw prints, etc. cuuuuuutttteeee
Great project! Thanks
I liked this so much that I had to work out a landscape version.
Smart idea! I have the Tim Holtz easel die and never thought to use it for cards. (Bought it for some wedding craft I was doing at the time.) Thank you, MayMay!
Thank you for the template ideas for card display.
Really helpful , thanks
Thank you so much for this fantastic tutorial!! Now off to my craft room to make easels for my cards. :)
Super cool...now I know how...thanks!!!
