For a Singaporean, I strangely get recommended a lot of tourists in Singapore videos and I do watch them. This is by far one of the best I have seen. It is offbeat and well-researched.

Josh and Lisa, the both of you should get an award for your travel video !! To many foreigners (especially the Europeans) and locals, Singapore seem sterile and expensive. But your travel blog video presents so much of the life, taste, local colour and the affordability of the Singapore that few know it to be. Thank you!

Lisa & Josh. Is it ok to ask you guys which hotel did you stay? We are planning to visit Singapore in a budget vacation.

@@jennifermanipis9210 we stayed in an Ibis budget hotel, a link to it should be in the description :)
Being a local, this would be the perfect itinerary that I would recommend to a foreign friend. Kudos to you for doing your research - things like cycling from MBS - Airport and Lazarus Island and my favourite hawker centre ‘old airport road’ is not something that is commonly featured in Singapore travel vlogs. This deserves to be picked up by the tourism board for promotional purposes. Also, mayb next time try birds paradise ie our new and revamped bird park. It’s something that is not featured a lot by foreigners yet.

Thank you! We loved cycling and old airport road is our favorite hawker center! ☺️ will definitely check that out next time!
Great video! This is why "Singapore is the most expensive city in the world" is only partially true, because the only truly expensive things are 1. housing and 2. vehicles (both obviously due to land scarcity issue). Everything else is 100% affordable and this video just proves that you can't just trust everything you see online :)

The is great insight! Thank you :)
I'm from Singapore and Josh really nailed it about our expectations of airports 🤣. Even before they added that hugeeee mall, I really got a huge surprise when we travel and saw how other airports actually looked like 😅. And yes, hawker center food.... it's really the place to try local food.
Wow I genuinely loved this episode! Too many fav moments....loved the meal choices, Josh running like the happiest kid towards ice-cream man, Lisa zooming on the train door while Josh teased her for taking endless shots of the empty train, lol! Most importantly the sincerity that oozes from your faces while enjoying the simple things that make you happy. The ending narration sums up why I subscribed in the first place.
I hope our gov show this video to all the citizens to appreciate how wonderful our country really is. people are just taking things for granted nowadays and complain way too much
I'm Singaporean and I travel a lot for work. I find that it's always possible to live simply in Singapore and not spend so much money. Glad you enjoyed being in Singapore. You're always welcome here.

I watched your New Zealand trip (I am Maori from New Zealand) and I thought it was really well done. So I watched your Vietnam trip (I spent a year there during the war) and again I thought it was great, I've been back twice. Now watching Singapore as I have spent 4 years in Singapore and 2 years in Malaysia. I know I will watch many more of your travels as I have also been to many other countries. I decided to write here because I heard Lisa say Chicken Feet was her favourite - I have never heard anyone say that, Chicken Feet is my favourite too.....
Thank you for loving my home country so much! I know it’s not your first time in Singapore, but I’m grateful to be reminded that Singapore is a place I call home and proud to be a Singaporean, as we have a lot to be thankful for on this small little island. 🥰🥰🥰
I think you are the second or third travel vlogger to cycle to East Coast and change airports and the first travel blogger to jump on a boat to the southern island. Well done!❤
This was an amazing video of my city. I have been living in Hong Kong in recent years and when I go back to Singapore I am amazed how much there is to see and do in that little island. You have showcased the city very well.
Great video once again. Despite its reputation for being expensive, it was good to see that Singapore can actually be budget friendly 👍👍
Hallo Lisa & Josh, I’m from Singapore and your video is by far the best I have watched. Most of us travel on a budget - the rich won’t need recommendations as they can afford whatever they wanted. We love your videos and we can relate to the things you go through. And Josh is funny, love his sense of humour 👍🏻♥️
Love how you show a different side of Singapore to the world, as a local, you’re doing a much better job than us singaporeans at showing off what Singapore has to offer ❤
This has to be the absolute best video on Singapore I have ever seen!!! Thank you so very much!!!❤ love from Canada 🇨🇦

We’re planning on returning to Southeast Asia in 2024 and I always thought Singapore was out of reach! With your video , it looks definitely doable!!
for the first time i felt that 47 minutes went past so fast. thanks for loving our place! and kudos on the trip to St John's! i believe not even some locals have went there before lol.
Hi guys, I am a Singaporean and I used to worked at Geylang as our warehouse is located there. I used to walk home from my warehouse about 3 or 4 am. That place is still considered safe. Unless you bumped in drunkers who walking around staring at girls. Just be careful when you are alone.
This is really well presented and interesting tour of Singapore, Lisa and Josh. Hope you had a great stay. Next round, if you guys ever visit again, you have to try out more the nature/forest reserves, places we have. Best of All, they are all free to enter.. - Treetop walk (Thomson Nature Park) - Sungai Buloh Wetland Nature Reserves (Migratory bird lookout / crocodile) - Bukit Timah Hill Nature Reserve (Highest Point on Singapore) - Pulau Ubin (Great for cycling & Mangrove of Chek Jawa)
Hands down my favourite Singapore video of all those I follow on KZread that have visited there. It so reminded me of the simpler times when we lived there in the mid to late ‘90’s. We lived by the East Coast parkway and used the cycle or pathways there every weekend with the kids, and ate at the Hawker centres. Great memories.
Singapore added to my list. You guys sure know how to stretch your days and dollars at a destination. I love it. Thank you.
There is a baby merlion somewhere behind that big one, you missed that 😅 Really love your vlog where you add lots of local touches, local hawker food, non-tourists spots where locals hang out, e.g. Henderwaves, the offshore islands... I truly encourage tourists in SG to do that 😊 Thanks Josh for appreciating the tray return system in the hawker centres. 👍🏻🙏🏻 Hope you guys will come again 😉
I love that bike ride to the airport, especially the Jurassic section. I'm planning trip to Singapore and Hong Kong next year and your videos are very helpful. With all of the walking/biking, I can see why food is always on your minds. 😊
It's great to see that you guys went off the usual touristy spots, like visiting another island, cycling to the airport via the very scenic East Coast Park. If you do come back again, do visit the zoo and the newly opened bird park, both are near to each other, though they will require a day for each park.
And congrats!!!!! You guys are featured on Singapore asiaone news!!! 🎉

😮 so cool!! ☺️ thanks for telling us!
Great F'in episode! It's a simple as that! I was thoroughly entertained from start to finish. I can't believe I'm saying this, but to watch a 47 minute episode, and not wanting it to end! Wow!
Love all the food stops!! Thanks for sharing more adventures!
Loved watching this and even though Chantal and I have lived here in Singapore for four years already, we still do all the things you did and feel the same way as we did the first time we visited! Truly an amazing city- especially for good (doesn’t have to be expensive!) food.
Your videos just keep on getting better - they are always enjoyable BUT this one was outstanding - I actually felt I was there with you - thanks so much xxx
One of the best KZread videos on holiday travel in Singapore! Glad you enjoyed your time on the little red dot 😊
Great video you two.! Love to see what foods you get, the sites, and different cultures, Thank you for posting.
Hi Lisa and Josh. Welcome back to sunny Singapore. Glad you enjoyed your trip. Good on you.
That was awesome. I've been to Singapore many times, but with you guys it was a whole new adventure.
Love the humour and great editing!
What a great video! Loved the editing and the commentary, and also the fact that you guys did so much research into this and the trip was so well planned. Hope you enjoyed your time in Singapore!
So way cool the light show among all the other special places in Singapore. Thanks you two!! 👏👏👏
Awesome to see you guys thrive! Keep on chugging! Hope you’re having a happy holidays wherever you are 🥰🤗
Most heartfelt, in depth and genuine video i have ever seen any KZreadr make of my home, Singapore. Thank you. Please come again
Production quality is amazing guys! Love your personalities and realness too! Keep up the adventures and thanks for letting us join for the ride ❤
Great soundtrack...loved all the music, along with everything else about this trip. Wonderful!! 🙂
I watched many travel/food videos and really enjoyed yours. You showed that it didn’t have to cost too much to enjoy good food. Convenient public transport and another side (non city area) of Singapore to enjoy your holiday here. Thank you.
Awesome to watch you two enjoy life and bring us along for the ride.

Josh and Lisa, many thanks for this awesome video of my country. I didn’t know one can cycle to the airport! And the best part is you gave a breakdown of your daily expenses here which may serve as a useful guide to others!
This video is really unique and gives a different kind of exploration idea around this small nation. Lovely couple and a really cool way of introducing your adventure in Singapore. Hope you enjoy the time there and keep up the good work on your videos.
A well shot video about Singapore! Well done! Going to the Hort Park, St John's Island and cycling from Gardens by the Bay to Changi Airport are great introduction to the wonderful greenery and park connectors in Singapore.
Great video, love Singapore. After watching im on the hunt to book family of 4 trip, great motivation…thanks
I had no idea you could cycle to the airport - the bike paths look amazing! Putting it on my last for when I next get to visit.
Best Singapore Video. Ever. Such a beautiful couple! Informative video with so much personality shining through 😊 Thanks so much!
What a great video! Thank you for sharing your experiences, I love hawker food too! 😊
Thank you so much for sharing this video! I’m planning to go to Singapore this summer, ur video helps me a lot!
i watch singapore tourism videos all the time and this is my favourite. thanks for visiting!
Amazing to watch as always
Just came across your videos & just wanted to say thank you! So easy to watch & just super helpful. Last time we were in Singapore was 2008 so a loooong time ago. Can't wait to go back in a few months using some of your tips!
Faith in humanity…your sentence stuck with me deep. I never have been in Singapore but now I’m definitely going. Thank you for your posting. You gave me a lifeline and hope. And for the food, well I’m going to try all of your pit stops and more…thank you thank you thank you both 🙏💐
Another great video! The best itinerary of nothing, but saw everything! And under budget:)
Great, well-done video. Totally agree about the Hawker centers for food. I went there every day also when in Singapore...but I did miss that peppermint ice cream guy!!
This is by far the best traveling video featuring Singapore.
Love watching tourists visiting and praising Singapore. But this video somehow just hits different. Just so genuine and heartfelt. Probably my favourite one out of the many I've seen. P.s I've been in Singapore for 33 years and I've yet to visit some of the places you did 😂
Josh and Lisa, thank you for this video. I will love to go back and do it your way on a budget!❤
I absolutely love this video. I want to visit this place and it Wil definitely be a budget trip. Thank you this video. It's so informative and stunning
Awesome video. Thankyou. I am heading to Singapore for a 3.5 days next month. I plan an experience very similar to this.
I loved Gardens by Bay and all the good hawker food too. Your video makes me want to go again. I miss kayaking toast for breakfast!
So well edited and hilarious. You did Singapore justice. Cheers! Hope to see you here again soon!

I always enjoy your vids! BUT!! I absolutely LOVE your black pantsuit!!
It is so lovely how you two interact with each other. So cute. ❤ I enjoy watching you two travels. No fight. Just fun.
I watched the entire video, very well done and well paced. Usually I would keep skipping
Wow you really did check out Singapore in lots of places! Good job🎉🎉🎉
So cool I missed your 3-day trips
Omg. This is an amazing itinerary. Night biking / night cycling down east coast park / east coast beach is an activity i used to do with my friends when i was a student. (It's cool, safe and pleasant at night!). There are reservoirs and nature parks and "park connectors" - new ones are being opened constantly. On weekends, i cycle with my dad in the park connector near my house - it follows the MRT line on the east west line. For island hopping, you'd get to see a glimpse of the singapore that our parents grew up in if you went to Pulau Ubin. Lazarus and St John Island are really no-mans land hahaha. What a lovely video! I'm genuinely impressed. Glad you enjoyed this country!
You guys did such an awesome job! We Singaporeans are so busy with work and you make us see the great things we can do in Singapore! Came over from your Hongkong video! Keep up the great work!
Awesome video. I must share this video, all tourist must follow your itinerary.
The icecream man on the bridge!....here in england that was a staple for us kids in summer years ago and still going
Guys!!! Thank you so much for your video. I’m feeling very emotional right now as I’m booking my ticket to Singapore! I wish you nothing but the best!!!
Below the Budda Tooth temple in Chinatown, there's actually a food court that serves only vegetarian food. Plus if u visit other temples in Singapore like the one at Bright Hill, they will provide FOC vegetarian meals at their mess hall on special occasions (like vesak day, tomb sweeping period etc)
cool trip guys!! love you on a budget $100 series! Welcome to SG hope you like the stay!!! Its really a garden in a city. Admire yall for biking from GBTB to Changi Airport
the first dim sum place has been around for ages! they are one of the more established trusted dim sum low key brands around. i grew up eating dim sum there! seeing it in your video makes me wanna go back there again!
Welcome back to sg again 🎉 Glad you guys enjoy your stay and wow… you guys sure visited some off-track places like Hort Park and St John’s Island. Hope to see you guys back in sg again 😊
I'm Singaporean and have seen quite a number of travelogues of our little red dot, and this is one of the best! I love that you feature our public transport system and hawker food. You missed out on the residential neighborhoods, though, so if you ever return. I hope you do venture into them and experience more of the local life.
Nice video. Thank you very much. Good to see you enjoyed our little island country. Hopefully you find some of the hope for humanity back in the states.
Looks like u folks had a decent time on our little red dot w/o blowing budget! Well done! :)
I agree when Josh said “almost all food you order, they are delicious”. I think Singapore is an amazing place for eating. Very clean place, safe. Thanks guys for the video coverage.
I am heading over to Singapore in a months time and this video is perfect video to be inspired by
I loved visiting Singapore. I was lucky enough to have a house sit in Queenstown for 7 days.
Ok, you got an audible laugh out of me when Josh flung his shoes at his head at 39:56 That looked like a great trip! I'm jealous of all the delicious foods
the cycling route, especially along the marina bay stretch, is absolutely magical at sunset/sunrise! although it'd be a lot less empty, lots more people there for an evening jog
another great video from you guys, thanks i really enjoyed as usual. come back to taiwan one day
Don't ever stop posting. Also, you both are looking great!!

Having lived in Singapore for over 20 years, this is the most interesting Singapore travel vlog I've come across! You've done your research well and went on the less trodden path. I've never even experienced St John's island and the Jurassic Mile! Time for me to get out more haha
Dear Lisa and Josh, welcome to Singapore. You guys surely did your research of places worth to visit in Singapore, well done. Next time you can visit Singapore heartland neighbourhood.
You two & this video make me want to visit & see the sights of Singapore....lovvvve the monetary break down you provide
From KL to Singapore to Hong Kong to Shanghai to Seoul to Osaka. Asia is too beautiful with the best food.
Great video, way better than all those typical tourist videos that just copy each other. You've covered all the spots I would recommend to friends. And great choices of food too, really shows the diversity there is and that does need to be expensive at all.
Geylang is famous for their frog porridge, beef Hor Fun...😊enjoy ur trip
I really loved this episode! It took me a few days to finish it - hope that didn't affect the algorithm too much 😂. Philippines is now higher up on the bucket list. 🙏
You guys should try Ah Balling Peanut soup dessert at the Chinatown hawker stall. It's so good.
Ohhhh, I enjoyed that! ❤❤❤
