I went to Munich for a few days and had a brilliant time! I was primarily there to join the Adobe Live team for the first time since I joined as a regular host a couple of years ago, but I also took some time to explore the city for the first time.
I wanted to keep this vlog fairly relaxed and try out a different style because I'm heading to Japan in literally a matter of days and need to keep my workload light! Let me know what you think of this kind of vlog!

+1 i love the vibe in your vlogs 👏🏻
I have been living in Munich for 18 years now, and had a blast watching you discovering my home town! Really interesting seeing "my city" through your eyes. I live close to where you recorded your walk along the Isar, and this is really one of my favorite areas. But now I am looking forward to your new content from Japan, as I have never been there.
One of your best vlogs! I loved the mix of footage, stills and slo mo. The sunset bridge looked so cool, as always German underground’s are beautiful, those huge light shades 😲
This is so nostalgic for me. Years ago I started watching your channel specifically for the Japan vlogs and instantly got hooked by your photography, style, and storytelling. But naturally, time in Japan had to end and you moved to other countries. So glad to see you go back to Japan. Your Japan vlogs have always brought a sense of comfort and awe. Love your photography Ser. Please keep persevering. :)
Enjoyed this one Joe, and also interesting to hear how you deal with sponsors, very different from the space I'm in. Excited for the Japan Vlogs!
Good vibe video. I look forward to seeing your Japan content, I hope to go for first time next year and for sure will be re-watching all your vids for tips when time comes!
Always love your video and inspiring vlog capturing the beauty of the cities.
Loved this video, so relaxing!
Enjoy Japan Joe. Looking forward to seeing your vids.
Wicked vlog, man! The photos with the glowing light turned out great, and its wild to see the behind the scenes at Adobe Germany. Thanks for sharing!
Very interesting video Joe, enjoyed a lot, looking forward to your Japan trip, have fun.
this was great i liked it over the few days it was great content!
It got bombed to dust which is why there are tons of those ugly buildings. 90% of the city center was destroyed, so they also rebuild a lot back to how it used to look. Your shot at 20:52 shows some war damage too. There are many stations that are good for photography. Olympic park is also great with interesting architecture. Check it out the next time in Munich. :-) People often say Munich is more a big village than a city. I wonder if you can agree. Enjoy Japan!

Yeah that’s what I expected and thanks for confirming with the shot of the building damage - I was on my way to the station when I briefly spotted it, so didn’t get a chance to see if there was any plaque explaining further about it. I saw Olympic Park from the autobahn, but didn’t get to walk through it on this occasion unfortunately. I’m sure I’ll be back in the future!
I love your channel man, always so chill, you seem like a cool dude.
I was just in Japan last week. it was my first time and I had to say Japan is a beautiful country.
Missed the tweets earlier in the week, so the vlog was a nice surprise. Have been traveling to Munich for business early in the week myself. Glad to see you enjoyed your visit.
Glad to hear you are coming to Japan! Hope my hometown Nagano is in your plan👍
Hello from Thailand. Love watching your channel. Have a good day.
You quite literally stood in front of the door where I used to live (where you found the UPS delivery car) :D Just moved out to go on my own adventure and traveling the world now full time, glad you liked my hometown

Absolutely! The funny thing is that I didn’t even realise until only a few years ago. It’s only in retrospect that I can see how certain chapters in my life allowed people to see me in ways that connected better. It’s definitely given me good direction for how to increases the chances of it in the future!
Interesting to see another person just taking hand luggage, are you a convert now? Thanks for sharing your insights, most enjoyable. All the best to you mate.

I was wondering to ask is Munich to Germany what Melbourne is to Australia, and then Joe said it wicked!👍
Hello Joe, I was wondering when you'd be on your way to Japan. Would love to go back to Germany, haven't been to Munich before, looks like a great place to walk around.

It’s been a long time coming! Got my visa a couple of months back, but had multiple trips booked before I could go. Then the borders finally opened a couple of weeks ago and this was the last trip to complete. I’m very excited!

Comment about your statement about the "traditional German dinner" with sausages: I find it really funny - or rather sad - that so many foreign people think that Bavarian culture equals all-German culture. You have to know that Germany has 16 federal states. Within these, of course, there are various regional peculiarities - as in any other country in the world, I think. Fun fact: many Bavarians would rather be separated as a separate country. They say things like "Mia san mia," which is Bavarian slang for "We are us - we are who we are." Oh, and a lot of people in Bavaria say that Munich is not Bavaria. But it's their bloody capital. Pretty feeble-minded, if you ask me. I don't mean to offend you, Joe. I know you are a considerate and kind person who would never intentionally pigeonhole anyone. You have only made a few trips to Germany, as you mentioned. Just wanted to enlighten you and others who are interested and have managed to read this far. Best regards!
