Now I know where u get all your energy and enthusiasm from! I’m 70 and from Minnesota. I get to share some of my trips with my sons as well. Nothing better than memories with your kids! Thanks for the vids and sharing time with your father and his friend ❤

Thank you, Pete!
Those fish are beautiful
Love the channel! I miss living along the Great Lakes (Rochester, NY) and fishing the Lake Ontario tribs for big browns and steelhead. Fished the St. Lawrence of smallies. Fishing here in Washington is great, but nothing can compare to the big waters of the Great Lakes.
Cool video Kyle. Have spent many a day and night on that pier fishing for about everything that swims.
Great video brother. While fishing Grand Traverse bay with my dad back in the day, we caught a very large fish that we had no idea what it was, or if we should even touch it. I weighed it and threw it back in the water. Was a little over 17 pounds. Later that week at a local bait shop I noticed they had one mounted on the wall. Found out it was a burbot. At the time, the Michigan state record was around 14 pounds. Dang!!!

Wow! I couldn’t imagine pulling that monster out and not knowing what on earth it was😅 sounds like a great memory!
Good job man
I should try off the pier heads here in Wisconsin for burbot. I love eating those…I love eating rainbows too though 😂
I grew up in Tawas and Oscoda but moved to the south west part of the state for work. I still miss leaving work and heading to the Ausable pier for my limit of walleye every night.
Its midnight and I just got home from work. Your video is great but now I am hungry. Saw you had to bring in "air cover" to keep your fishing spot. There is a fish market on the way to the south pier at Ludington that fries up some great lake trout and salmon and your cooking reminds me of theirs. You got a pretty good Golden Retriever there too. We use to have six at one time.
You live a great life! I want that!
Ollie😍
Thanks for making these videos Kyle ! ,my vision the last week surely stopped working and I can only see something if its touching my face pretty much . Waiting for the specialist to figure it out until then no fishing for me !! 😢 but watching you have a great time makes me feel better 👊🏻

@@AdventureChasing thanks for the kind words Kyle, you are a good dude that makes some killer content! appreciate everything you do for us 👊🏻❤️
That my man was a giant burbo burb and hella nice Whitefish but the most confusing part for me being from the same town is where the heck that was??? I have caught chrome everywhere there is to catch em but that pier threw me off bigtime. What was your 7up to water ratio??? You nailed it on putting your time in!! Had a friend up and we fished mouth of the Platte for two days for one Skipper he left because it was slow and we went to Otter the next day and absolutely smashed and he missed it 😂😂
Nice
Hay you guys gotta cut this out lm not getting anything done here at home just watching your great videos you are my favorite subscribe 👍🤗🏋️♀️🤺
F’IN A Kyle, F’IN A 👍
Ok now I know that gentleman must be your father! You both have the same reaction hooking a fish

Love the video!!! You should try cooking your fish in lard from a local Butcher, way better than those seed oils.

Keep trying, have to go early. From the man that gave you the whitney

I cringe every time that dog goes after a fish. It's just a matter of time before the dog gets hooked severely. I've seen it happe, and it sucks.
Do you smoke the skin?
@AdventureChasing
6 ай бұрын
You definitely could but I don’t mess with it unless I have fish out of saltwater. I usually cook the skin for Oliver and he’s a fan of that😅
