Thanks Darrell Braun Guitar, Happy New Year to you and yours! If I could make a suggestion, along with the licks it would be interesting to know how the various levels are set on your amp for the various licks. Anyway, thanks again!

Very nice, Darrell. Your teaching style is inspiring and very easy to follow. And also entertaining! Thanks.
Happy New Year to Darrell, staff at DBG, and everyone else; much success in 2019! Love that sunkissed orange tele!
Darrel, I've been playing guitar 46 years and I've never come across more helpful and informative videos as yours. Thank you is an understatement. You've answered some questions that I've carried around for years AND you've saved me a lot of dollars! Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge. MP
Great video, as always!
Cool video Darrell, I think I'll enjoy this series. Cheers!!

I love that freakin' Tele ! Happy New Year , PEACE
You never disappoint, Mr. Braun. Thank you for addressing what might be the most oft overlooked guitar music around!
Great video, Love the pickups in the Tele! Happy New Year!!!
Happy new year from a fellow Canadian! Thank you so much for all you do for us!. Your videos have been an inspiration as I have been working on my first guitar build and taking my playing skills to the next level. Keep up the amazing work and all the best in 2019!
Great stuff, Darrell. I'm not much of a country player, but this lesson helped reinforce the close relationship country has with other genres. Lots of fun noodling around with the licks and related patterns. Thanks!
Thanks for this Darrell, I've been wanting to learn some country chops for a while! that 3rd level though, gonna have to work on it for a while
Great idea. Enjoyed this
Awesome idea!
These are great, thank you so much! Also, I really enjoy your teaching style.

Happy New Year Darrell!
Happy New year to you Darrell, you're a few hours behind us in the UK.
Great idea!
CRAP!!! I missed this somehow, and now I'm two weeks behind getting these down before the next one in the series! Great idea, can't wait for more!
I really love this idea for a series! As a person still learning guitar and music theory, I think it would be helpful to include a small exposition in the beginning about central themes or concepts that define the genre for guitar. But I was also able to pick up a good bit from you provided through the licks. I look forward to seeing your other videos in the series. Thanks for doing what you do :)
Cool licks bro! Happy new year
Happy New Year and Best Wishes for 2019!
Awesome idea with this series! I can't wait to see the other styles and how we as a community of guitarist can evolve this subject! I am a professional guitarist in swfl and have been teaching for 23 years. I've learned so much from playing multiple styles and genres. I've also come to appreciate more styles of music that I might not normally listen to. Currently I'm working on learning the neo-soul and gospel guitar style. I'd love to see a video like this in that style please! Btw, for those of you internet land reading this, if you'd like to get into that style my go to guy is Isaiah Sharkey. He's a Grammy award winner and has played for John Mayer and D'Angelo. He also just dropped his first solo album that I've just started listening to on spotify. Peace ya'll! 🤘😎🤘😊🎸
Excellent channel! 👍
You have been coming up with some great topics lately. Perhaps the most interesting guitar topics on KZread. That is better than it sounds. Ha. Nice work.
Do something with the hipshot b bender they have some really cool stuff man love to see you work something out with them and do several of there products. Keep rocking fool!
You're very nice guy and I like your lessons !
I loveeeeeeer that tone!!!!!!
Awesome, now all you need is some lyrics about losing your horse, getting drunk on beer and how the sweet lord gave you a nice lifted truck and you have yourself a badass country hit.

I think I just found my new favorite Genre 😀 first time I could do all three levels easily 🤣. Thanks Darrell I’ve honestly never considered country but love the feeling and Twang
Great Idea!! I'm actually working on Country. Was surprised how different+ a bit hard it is! As soon as I figure your Patreon page so I can get the notes to what ya did, I'll be all set. Once again, Thanks for the Help,!
Happy new year my man! Also you should do a video about punk riffs! Take care bro!
That’s a beautiful guitar.. IMOP
Nice to hear the country come out of this guitar, I just bought that same one but I was concerned that it wouldn’t be twangy enough compared to the standard Tele pick ups.
Awesome
Interesting and challenging licks Darrell. Ironically, I was wearing the same blue Tele t-shirt today. Thanks again!

I've taken my playing more seriously lately and Country is one of the styles I'd like to learn the basics of (is that a proper sentence?). This is a cool start. Thanks Darrell.
Nice sir...
Excellent, as usual, Darryll. There are a lot of really good country guitar players. Alas, I am not one of them, though I play a lot of country songs. For the inept guitarist (i.e., me), the appeal of much of today's country-pop music is that it embodies that cliché about country music - "3 chords and the truth." Even I can usually figure out the right 3 chords, and then noodle around a bit off of those. Love that Tele - especially the pickguard!
Lordy Lordy what a fantastic lesson! Great teacher as well!!! How can 10 peoples give thumbs down? Pricks!
Happy new year guys and girls

Oliver Shreds thanks man best wishes to you for the whole year
I know you are just getting started on this new series, but please come back around for part 2 on this one...and part 3 and part...
Man, that guitar has a sweet sound.
great stuff Darrell 👍 your channel is certainly a one-stop source of infotainment for every guitar player/enthusiast. wishing you another rocking new year ahead.
Great content and upload bro!! PLEASE extend the "3 Country/Rock/Jazz/etc Licks"-Series with continued episodes. It helps a lot!! ROCK ON!! also i was wondering on how to integrate "chicken picking" into my playing.. so my question to you is if you could implement on the eventually 2nd "3 Country Licks" Series the following playing style i found : KZread: "Fun With Five Awesome Vintage Amps From 1958 - 1966 - That Pedal Show", the particular part from 00:53 - 01:19 was and is just so uplifiting that i have to tell and ask you about this cause im having some issues figuring it out by myself :) Cheers and greetings from austria
Sweet Tele!
I love you !
Nice guitar mate 👍 Can't beat a bit of silver sparkle, when I had the opportunity last year to buy a Gretsch G5126 in silver sparkle, I had to buy it. It's not the kind of guitar I'd normally go for with it being a bit blingy but by golly It's a beaut !!
I need more of this siries
Thanks míster
I'm pretty natural at playing country, I like playing It when I'm jamming with others.. but I'm more into metal or acoustic stuff when I'm by myself.
Still can’t play country but, happy new year.
Not a big country fan but I have always appreciated that quick chicken pickin when I hear it.
Do blues licks Also I really like how you show us what key it's in thank.
Admittedly the only country act I follow is Old Dominion and I love their music! Brad their lead guitarist does play a Surf Green S-57 from Nashguitar...this not a coincidence!

Dude it's a video, ..get in character! Where's the floppy cowboy hat, your lazy hound-dog lying on the Deluxe Reverb, the forlorn female taking your pick up truck & leaving ya' all in a cloud of dust !!? Lol... Great series idea and looking forward to your teachings. I live by the L.A. beaches so maybe a Surf Guitar future session?? Happy New Year !!🤠

that tele looks like Gretch stole it and painted it. super cool
Like the idea of the "3 licks". Nice idea. Anyone worried about using country licks in rock/metal, just listen to Nuno's use of Country and Bluegrass when he plays :)

Mastodon use some of those country licks in their songs too
Canadian Country baby!!!
One addition, you must change index and mid fingers while playing on the one string
I once knew this guitarist who if you asked him what kind of music he played, he would say "both kinds - country AND western".
I've been trying to figure out more bluegrass if that can be part of this series, please :)
