What mistakes/bad habits have you gotten over that I didn't cover in this video? How were you able to get past those bad tendencies? - BHNS

I used to involuntarily move my body around. Not even with the music, just fidgeting like a 4 year old 😂

No need to apologize for making 2 air related topics. Almost every problem we have in brass is related to air. Can't hit the high note? More air. Can't sustain the low note? More air. Can't play loud enough? More air. Something stuck in the horn? More air. Can't find your tuba? More air.

I used to clutch the tuba mouthpiece lead pipe with my left hand. Soon after, I started to press the mouthpiece into my face, and it was brought to my attention that I should put my left hand on the fourth valve or the third valve piping. Whenever I'd feel pressing I'd lean back, see where my hand was positioned and move it. I catch myself doing it once in a while now, but it isn't as bad as when I started.

I have a really strange embouchure! My mouthpiece instead of being close to the nose it is on the opposite way. I'm struggling with that😔. Hope I have time in Christmas school break to fix it

I sound good and back to normal now, I told me like a week to readjust, it was definitely frustrating at first.
