I own the zoom 65 and the qk65 and tbh compared to the qk65 the zoom65 feels cheap and not good quality. I ended up just straight up giving my zoom65 away.

Tbh the Jris65 is one of my favorite budget boards. It can do both popular sound signatures easily and it looks so good!

I like the budget part too

here are some ACTUAL budget keyboards…unlike what he said GMK67 (plastic, barebones US$43) Sugar65 (aluminum, barebones US$73)

It's budget for the custom keyboard hobby, budget is just cheap relative to other products like it, people call a 500$ gaming pc budget because a lot of gaming pcs cost more than that

cidoo v65 good too just gotta lube stabs and lube switches if you buy different and of course keycaps if you don’t like the original but sounds great out of the box

Everyone in the comments is tripping. Budget does not exactly mean cheap. It just means affordable, and in this hobby where keyboards can cost 500+ USD, sub 100-200 is very affordable. Of course there's the cheaper plastic boards but there's always a reason why things are cheap.

You can wait for the next round (might take a very long time, i dont know) , buy them used from someone, or buy similar keycaps like xmi from 21kb, shenpo from aliexpress or cannonkeys nicepbt. You can also buy the keycaps these are based on. They are vintage keycaps from cherry keyboards (g80-3000hav or g81-3000sav for example look the same) but the dye sublimation sav ones can be very expensive these days because they are a collector's item.

Funny the bakeneko still sounds the best for the money

I got the akko 3068B Plus which is a bit cheaper than the ones in the video. I really like the switches and the keycaps, it’s also hotswap and wireless. The keyboard got insane value and sounds great without any mods (and I’m sure with mods the sound can be enhanced even more :D)

I would get none of them. I would take a bakeneko65

None of these are budget. Like think 75 and below bro. We already spend hundreds on the pcs we don’t need to spend 100s on keyboards 😂 also, mechanical keyboards are great for gaming, you can argue that all day, but a budget keyboard realistically is the 20 dollar one from Walmart, it does the same thing, maybe not as good but functional. So why would we spend so much

considering that "middle end" custom keyboards are 350-500 dollars per, it's not that insane. Budget PCS are like 550, which isn't cheap by no means. It's all relative

You can go out and by a Keychron V2 for $69 on sale right now. That's a budget board. They are quality boards that aren't overpriced for what they are. As far as I'm concerned Keychron put the whole mechanical keyboard segment on notice. These companies over pricing boards because they could get away with it, those days are over.

If you get either one of bad boiz, you are guaranteed to have a hella good board. I was lucky to have the chance to try out so many boards so I say get either one of these and you’re solid. But only one. Don’t buy to many entry boards.
