What makes this channel different from many others is that Paul teaches the people how to love guitar and the benefits of it in your life, it's not only about practice scales and chords...

For me, it's also the fact that he's like the Bob Ross of guitar. He has such a pleasant nature and it's so relaxing and interesting to listen to Paul. It's like you would listen to a friend who explains music theory in a very understandable way to you.

I learned the importance of guitar last week when I had a mini mental breakdown. I haven't played in a year or 2 and I picked up my guitar and played for 4 hours straight. My immediate emotions came into line and I was happy again. Once you learn how to play it becomes a part of you and you can't stop playing. It's GOING TO AFFECT YOU SOON OR LATER!!! Keep playing people.

Anybody ever sit back and just think about how crazy humans are? We take wood, bone, and some metal strings (which is crazy in it's own right that we created them) and stick them together to create such moving music...we are amazing despite the negativity around us. Remember we are only here for a brief time. The problems we all experience are very small in the grand scheme of things. There is always someone who has it worse. Cheers!

Isnt it amazing how in Sligo River Blues when the cord leaves G that it goes to F instead of C! If it went to back to C it would "resolve" there however by going to F the song has the feeling it would flow on forever like a river! That along with the "blue note" on the B string really has always made this a very special song to me. Thanks Paul! I think I saw my dog in the background if you see him again please send him home?
