It was truly incredible to be there in person for this one. After attending games for almost twenty years, experiencing all the heartbreak, ineptitude, and embarrassment we've had to go through as a fanbase watching our storied program be dragged through the mud, you cannot imagine the catharsis released in that stadium after such an incredible game. I've never seen such wanton joy from people just aimlessly running around hugging strangers. Not only was this the best game I have ever seen, it was the most important victory for my beloved Vols in decades. We are back.

Ducks fan here . Tennessee is the only SEC team I'll root for. When they came here a number of years ago, their fans were so damn respectful and great to be around. Great win by the Vols! This game and the Utah/USC game are easily the 2 best games I've seen this season. Amazing games by all teams.

I’m a Penn State fan/alum, but I consider the Vols my SEC team. Tennessee is one of my favorite vacation destinations, and I’d love to retire in the Smokey mountains. Beautiful land. Nice people. Truly passionate fans. The Vols weren’t even good the last time I was there and every other person still had a Vols jersey on in the middle of Summer no less. I’m happy for them

That final catch by Bru McCoy as he is being blasted from behind and still managed to hold on to the ball was the entire ball game......if he drops that pass, the kick does not reach the goalposts. Tremendous clutch play.

He didn’t interfere with his ability to catch the ball in any way. That was an absolutely terrible call, but because it would have probably meant “game over” for y’all, it’s all of a sudden a “good call”. I’m not taking anything away from TN’s performance. Y’alls offense is awesome, but to say that was a good no call is absolutely asinine. Not to mention the 2 roughing the passer penalty no-calls. Hell, there was a review for targeting on one of them but NO roughing the passer penalty was called with it. Willful ignorance.

I have been a die hard Tennessee fan my whole life and that night I was in the stadium. Lower level about 30 yds away from where the Bama missed kick landed and I will never forget that game. The atmosphere and the emotions and being able to experience it the way I did was incredible.

I experienced every emotion possible in the last few minutes of this game

"The misery is over in Rocky Top" - I'll never forget being in Neyland for this game. Truly the best sporting moment of my life.

That was one of greatest sports games I have ever witnessed on any level, the time the place and the current state of the rival programs made this a “must have it” for Tennessee

I'm a Bama fan but have lived in Tennessee for 45 years. Could not be more proud of these two teams. This game will go down in history as one of the best games ever played at Rocky Top.

It was a great atmosphere and a classic shootout. Better than anyone could have predicted. If you love offense, this was your game. Tennessee had such hype leading into this game that I predicted that they would be crushed emotionally if the team lost. But they survived, and they're giddy in Knoxville right now. But they have a great big hurdle ahead down in Athens. And with their defense, I don't think that they can repeat this feat down there. But they have already had a great season, and should be in the New Year's Day Six.

Game of the season for me. Simply unbelievable performance by Tennessee. Championship or no, we beat bama and florida. I'm satisfied.

Thank you so much Tennessee and LSU for knocking Alabama out of the CFP!

Don't worry because as soon as the playoff gets expanded to 12 teams Alabama will most certainly be there every year lol.

Michigan man here remembering my father, he always told me Rocky top will always be home to him, cried a little bit afterwards remembering the times we had shared with moments like this. I know he is smiling up there now. GO BLUE & Rocky Top !

Michigan fan but I’ve always liked tennessee and their history this game and the finish was unbelievable and one of the greatest upsets in college football 🔥

Mann I watch the game and I couldn’t believe we won. That was probably the greatest ending since 2016 georgia game with back to back Hail Marys. GG to Alabama

As an Alabama fan who went to the game, it was such an AMAZING game and I give mad respect to both teams for playing so hard. Yes it was upsetting for us to lose, but I would be pretty hyped if I beat someone after 15 years, even with a kick as ugly as that LOL. Easily one of the most thrilling endings of any football game I've ever watched, and seeing it in person was definitely something else. Great play from both sides, and I applaud the Vols for their victory. Congratulations Tennessee. 🟠⚪🔴⚪

Insanity. So many emotions up and down in that game. Loved every minute of it.

Been a Tennessee fan since the Sugar Vols of 85. Marched with the Pride for four years in the early 90s and saw some damn good games, but nothing like this. As emotional as this win was, I totally lost it when they reclaimed Dixieland Delight and played it over the PA. Perfect icing for a perfect cake!

This game was everything that makes college football great

Well prolly drop to 6 and Tenn goes to 3. Bama still got #15 miss st and #9 ole miss and win out to play the winner of the east.

Tennessee wins like it’s the national championship game Alabama would have won just another Saturday. Man Alabama has been crazy good for a minute.

One of the best regular season games I’ve ever seen. Hyatt was Randy Moss in a Vol uniform that day. I’m a Texas fan and I watched this game from beginning to end.

As a Vol fan it is much appreciated seeing the congrats from fans of other teams! Much respect to you and your teams! How could anyone that is a college football fan not love that game! WOW!! That is what college football is all about! Let’s keep it rolling Vol Nation!! GBO 🍊🍊🍊

Only fitting for both teams to make a play at the end of the game, Bama got a finger on it. Not sure why TNs lineman just stood still and didn't get up out of his stance allowing the Bama player to jump over him

I'm a gators fan but what an awesome game and ending! Watching nick Saban having a breakdown, PRICELESS!

There was clearly "something in the air" on Rocky Top even BEFORE this incredible match started.

This is the game of the year so far.

As a "casual" football fan I thought the ultimate in post-game energy and euphoria was last year's Michigan win over Ohio St. at the Big House (it WAS last year, right?) I mean, just sitting at home, you could ride the vibe. But this...this was David slaying Goliath and then walking up and putting a metal-toed sandal on the giant's throat. Congrats Vol nation!
