Another bad design: invulnerable boss phase that's much harder than the rest of the fight. And you can completely skip it by logging out (like everybody in HC) or just dying and waiting for it to be over. Doing it "properly" requires much better gear. It's like the designer meant for you to log out and cheese it.

@@KelvynnPoE what do you think about running Shavronne's Revelation with ghost reaver on this build since you play with overleech already? maybe energy leech support would be good or does it not scale well with Icestorm?

@@adamzeller7979 Shav ring is not as good as synthesized rings. Ghost Reaver would also hurt a lot in boss encounters with invulnerable phases (Uber Sirus, etc) and T17 maps.

Any changes you'd make for HC? I play on SSF so the gear level is going to be quite a bit lower for a while

I don't play HC myself, sorry. Probably wouldn't change anything in the build. HC is just a super-careful play style. SSF is whole new level of challenge too. This build uses uniques that would take forever to find in SSF. I can't recommend it for HCSSF.

After just having played my first ever Necromancer since the PoE beta - it feels so good to lay my eyes on a single demi-god fucking shit up on his own. No animated guardian, wrath aura minions, desecrate spirit offering or OP action speed spectres. Love it.
You cannot log out of boss mechanics in HC they just start it up again when you come back through the portal. The more you know. Edit:nice looking build

Sure you can. Just not immediately, have to wait a little. Example from HC: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mmx3z7mRcaXYe7w.html And even if it restarts, you can wait for it to finish while invulnerable after coming back.

@KelvynnPoE Yes you can log on beams slams ect.. but not the spheres on eater or rolling meteors on exarch. Looks like he finished the spheres in the example here ate a beam and logged.

@@bigyetis Oh, you're right! There is a caption for Maven saying 'Begone!' just as he logged. But he could log out earlier, come back and wait for the ball phase to end while invulnerable. That's what we do in SC after dying.
